The pizza slice was good. Not quite my favorite pizza since I’m a pizza traitor. I love the local pizza specific to Dayton Ohio from places like Marion’s, Cassano’s and Ron’s. This does not exist outside that region. But my second favorite pie is this style and specifically from The Crossroads in Hellertown PA. Been going there all my life when I get back up there. This one was good, but not quite the Crossroads. But a solid pizza for the local area. And a pizza I would order again. I look forward to eventually trying the Sicilian style.
Onto the Philly. Same review as the pizza. It was a solid cheesesteak but lacked that perfect flavor balance. Something hard to describe, but there is a flavor that comes out of Eastern PA and Jersey that is unique. This is still a solid chesesesteak and one of the better ones for this area of Florida. I would certainly order it again.
Would love to see this place expand to a full service restaurant style seating eventually. I’d return more often to relax and enjoy a good dinner. This location has just a few seats and feels more like a pizza joint catering mostly to carry out. Looking forward to seeing a future expansion!
I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and asked for it sliced in half. What I got looked like it was torn apart by hand — sloppy presentation with no clean cut. On top of that, the sandwich was over-salted and dry, which made it hard to enjoy. If cutting and seasoning a sandwich properly is an issue, it might be time to reconsider pricing or execution.
I also ordered the Chicken Cutlet à la Vodka pinwheels, and wow… that was disappointing. The pinwheels were doughy, underwhelming, and had maybe 3–4 tiny diced pieces of chicken total. Calling it a chicken dish feels generous.
All of this came out to $49. I understand inflation is real, but there are plenty of local spots offering better quality, portions, and consistency for less money. At that price point, expectations are higher — and this didn’t come close.
I wanted to like this place, but after several attempts, I can’t justify coming back.
On to the food..
I got the traditional Philly. flavoring is awesome. Super cheesy! And they fill these things to the brim! Also these things are massive so come prepared to eat!
He got a Cajun chicken Philly and he is now swearing that it’s the best chicken Philly he’s ever had.
Sides. Fried pickles and Loaded Fries. Both were great. He’s a pickle connoisseur of sorts and if this place wasn’t an hour and a half out for us he would be here every day just for the fried pickles!
So I looked at restaurants in my area and
Anthony & Lucas pizza kitchen came up
I had seen posts on Facebook prior and I have read the reviews
So I decided to order a meatball pizza and their cannoli puff pastry
I am a total pizza snob and from Jersey so I don’t eat just any pizza. It has to be good and the style I grew up on.
Well they did not disappoint. It was very good the crust was perfect and had the crust bubbles , the cheese and sauce was very good , mind you it was picked up and delivered to me. So I can only imagine how much better it would be in person at the restaurant I will definitely be ordering again and I will be trying more of their items
The steak is PREMIUM quality, cheese of equal caliber. Rolls are Amoroso, flown in from Philly daily. $15.99 is a bit pricey, but the QUALITY justifies it completely. Highy recommend this place for a Cheesesteak. I would imagine everything else is equally as good!
