Arrived around 8am and was seated promptly inside but near a large garage door that the manager quickly opened for us. Outside patio seating was full, but with the garage door open you felt like your were part of the patio. Waitress was also prompt and quickly asked use for our drink order. Coffees came quickly and we ordered our breakfast. The wait for the food was tolerable and our waitress kept our coffee full so we didn’t mind taking our time and watching the boats on the lake. Food was hot and delicious, we’ll be going back.

We were here for the first time for breakfast today. LeeAnne was a great bartender/server and fun to talk to. We were presented with welcome beignets since it was our first visit and we ordered the grand mimosa, salted caramel spiked cold brew and the Abe Mary. They were all delicious! We ate the southwestern omelette and hash brown Benedict, both were delicious and cooked to perfection!! We were also greater by the manager who was very friendly and caring about our first visit! We will definitely be back!! Forgot to take pictures of the food, as it was so good, it was gone before we knew it!

Great location. There is a full bar as well as a dining area on the waterfront. City harbor is a very nice new area. The service was good the restaurant is very nice inside. We had the Sonoma club which was excellent, also the broken egg biscuit sandwich it was good. This is comparable to maple Street biscuit company but not quite as good. I would eat here again.

I love this place. Great food!…nice atmosphere right by Lake Guntersville. The 1st Broken Egg Cafe I ever went to was in Destin, FL and the next was in Fairhope, AL. I was so excited when I noticed that we got one in Guntersville. I only wish they were open for dinner.

Honest Review:. I try to never do this BUT the food was amazing and the drinks were awesome but we sat at the bar and the bartender was apparently having a horrible day. We tried to cut up with her but she never even cracked a smile. She complained about how busy they were and other employees. I know it’s hard to find someone to work, but come on. We would have tipped a lot better if she could have greeted us and had a pleasant attitude.
