The decor is basic, but the staff is warm and helpful. The chef came to our table several times to explain the food and help us with the spice. Had the Waakye and Goat meat and Jollof Rice & Goat meat. The seasoning was delicious. The Goat Stew has an amazing aroma. The Goat in the stew was fall apart tender and flavorful. I loved the flavor. The heat of the stew was strong but couldn’t help but keep eating.

Just left this place.. terrible customer service. My friends and I waited 1.5 hours after ordering before finally deciding to leave. They are out of almost every single food item, so what’s the point of a menu? The prices of the food on the menu are $6-8 less than what the worker said (wouldn’t have known if I didn’t ask). How can we as Africans progress or even be taken seriously in the food/service industry if we continue to underperform Hispanic, Asian, American restaurants? There were no attempts made to offer complimentary food or even give an update on the food. Just sad.

This newly opened branch of Anokye Krom offer customers a more African reception! The menu is typically Ghanaian and it’s second to none in the area. Their waakye (rice and beans) is definitely a must try (beware of the very spicy but tasty shito condiment). The wait time can be very long but I guess the deliciousness of their foods make up for it. The owner and staff are very friendly. There is also ample parking available.

Three times I’ve ordered sides with my meal and the delivery person has shown up without it. When I called to tell them this, they put me on hold on and then hung up. The food is mediocre. Find better food and sevice elsewhere

I did not order food for myself. I cannot do spicy food. My granddaughter ordered and she loved it but could not finish it because it does get very spicy hot as you continued to eat it! When I say spicy I mean hot sauce! So if you like hot sauce it was good. She would stop eating but kept picking up fork because it was good!

It is expected that they put another kind of meat in the stew you ordered when they ran out, but putting bony fish is too much especially when specifically mentioned don’t want fish because there are bones. Very poor service when there were only 2 tables with 3 servers. Food is fine which makes a 3 out of 5

I have been getting take outs from this restaurant for a while now and I’m not sure what happened but the quality and quantity of their food has gotten bad. From the Jollof to the waakye, and their banku and okra soup the portion size has drastically reduced. The last few times I ordered out, I thought they were playing a joke on me. I asked for meat with my banku and was given a huge cow leg that was 99% bone and that was it! It’s disappointing!
