Ann’s BBQ has been a staple in my life since childhood, and after all these years, it still feels like home. I recently stopped by and ordered the jumbo shrimp, the Polish sausage sandwich, and the catfish dinner — and let me tell you, everything was just as good as I remembered.
The jumbo shrimp were perfectly seasoned and fried to golden perfection. The Polish sausage sandwich had that classic flavor and snap that only Ann’s can get right. And the catfish dinner? Fresh, hot, and cooked just the way it should be — tender on the inside with that satisfying crisp on the outside.
Everything was fresh, flavorful, and didn’t disappoint one bit. Ann’s BBQ continues to prove why it’s been a trusted favorite for generations. If you grew up on their food like I did — or even if you’re visiting for the first time — you won’t be disappointed.

Food was very good. Got the shrimp dinner and 6 wings. Chicken was seasoned well and shrimp were nice sized shrimp. I also like the fact that they give sliced bread with the dinners. Would like to go back to try the ribs.

Make sure you have cash or cash app. Guy was really nice, and food prices were low. Looks like a family run spot. Food wasn’t over or under seasoned. All the food was good! From Columbus but would most definitely stop by again if I was in the area. Located only 5 minutes away from the Toledo museum of art. Parking may be difficult for people with mobility issues but they’re so nice I’m sure if you ordered over the phone for that reason they would bring it out.
Update: Again, great food and even better customer service. Every time we seem to miss the chicken! Lol. Guy said Fridays/Saturdays from 1-4 are the best hours to make sure you get your BBQ. But seriously anything on their menu is good! I was surprised today when I got the catfish and shrimp combo, beautifully butterflied shrimp and flaky crunchy catfish, both were hand dredged not out of the bag bag like most places. I do wish they had some vegetables like greens or something but all of their sides are really delicious.

The food is wonderful however they are very slow I was told 30 min wait but it was 1 hour. Others had come from work and waited almost same time as I did. They also need to hire someone to answer phone and take all the orders. Also too many elderly for you to have such a high step with no railing or ramp assistance. On a brighter note met someone from Alaska who heard about Ann’s Barbecue during my wait. ❤️ I also saw Ms Ann the owner.

I have never eaten ever in life until I taste a shrimp, man my eyes got big and I ended up ordering a shrimp dinner and jumbo shrimp at that I’m so grateful I tried it because I will be back for this same meal. Thank you Ann’s I appreciate your hard work.

Ordered over the phone older lady took my order she had the most nasty attitude I’ve ran across from a older professional person in years.
From yelling to telling me to just bring my money and come on.
I went because I wanted to put a face to this rude person. Once I arrived there was a older man in the small waiting area waiting on his order that was giving her lessons on how to talk to customers. long story short a complete turn off . Ribs were dry sauce was like water. And to top it all off this rude lady just sat there in a lawn chair behind the window yelling at practically everyone even the cook.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE WANTING GOOD FOOD AND FRIENDLY SERVICE.
