I got the vegan banh mi and it was refreshing and delicious. Tasted authentic and has the typical banh mi toppings you would find in Vietnam. The staff were very sweet and the service was quick. I got the order to-go, so the toppings were put in a separate baggy to prevent sogginess. I had assembled the toppings myself so it looks a bit of a mess in the picture haha. Totally recommend to try this place out.

Small counter banh mi shop that just opened in Iowa City 2 months ago. There is limited seating (3 counter seats) if you want to eat there. The owner was very pleasant and gave me a bottled water for free with my order. I got the combination banh mi and it was just as delicious as ones I’ve had in Seattle! Perfect amount of cold cuts and pate, delicious crunchy pickles, and a savory sauce to drizzle over. The baguette was perfectly toasted and chewy on the inside. Would definitely come again or do take out!

This place rocks! I’m visiting from out of town and saw this place had good reviews, and I can see why. The people behind the counter are very polite and kind, the menu is simple to grasp, and the food was DELICIOUS. The bread was so fresh, and the toppings were great. The egg roll was one of the best I’ve ever had. Even the peach tea was perfect! Amazing place, wish I was from around here, I’d be a regular for sure!

I was so excited to see this restaurant when I came in 2 weeks ago, I loved it and have already been back again, The food was fast and the quality was excellent. I got the vegetarian, it was very flavorful. The bread was soft and crusty, the veggies are fresh and crunchy. They ask if you would like vegan or regular mayo which I really appreciate. I love the lychee tea! I am looking forward to coming back again!

Great Bánh mì! I had the number one. The topping portions were good. The pâté and Mayo is very good. The sauce they provide to go with it is excellent. Very friendly staff. They let me know that next time if I come in to buy sandwich I could just park next to the building. As long as you order to go you won’t get ticketed from the meter maids. Go to note. If you wanna hang out and eat there’s a parking garage around the corner.

We stopped to grab banh mi for lunch after hearing wonderful reviews.
As soon as my husband and I walked in with our 9 month old, they offered him a small baguette while we decided what to order. I picked the vegetarian banh mi and my husband chose the pork belly. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The veggies were in a separate bag to keep from getting soggy.
I tried both sandwiches and would definitely eat either one again. Delicious flavors!
And our baby would not let us take away the bread, so he was pretty happy with it, too.

Tried the combination banh mi, shrimp spring rolls, and seafood egg rolls. Everything was delicious. Owner was super nice and generous. Would recommend this mom and pop shop. A nice grab a go spot.

We loved trying this place for the first time today! The combination sandwich is delicious! The flavors are fantastic and I love that the veggies and sauce are served on the side so that the sandwich doesn’t get soggy during transportation. The bread is soft, the meat is flavorful and great quality and I’m in love with the yummy sauce that comes on the side to be drizzled on top. The staff is wonderfully friendly. I will be back!

I got the #1, I love the original Bahn Mi! Theirs is amazing, love the lightly pickled veggies, and the fact this is a very light sandwich. It’s heavy on the ingredients but doesn’t weigh me down and make me feel like ugh. Everyone should come here, they are really sweet people 🙂
