So I went here with my Mom for a birthday brunch on Saturday, March 7, at about 11:25. Place was packed but we got sat fairly quickly (within 10 minutes), though the seating process was a little disorganized (people were skipped in line, confusion over who was next, tables weren’t fully cleaned when they brought parties over).

We get our order taken by about 11:40, easy peasy, but the issue we had was it took over an hour (12:40) for someone to CHECK IN to see how we were doing… BEFORE the food came out. Got the food by 12:50 and it was delicious, albeit it didn’t feel like “nice fresh out the kitchen” but that sort of warm temperature as if it WAS ready just not sent out immediately.

I can understand that a packed house can get hectic, and I’m always down for waiting for a great meal, but it just felt disheartening that our server didn’t do a little check in every now and again. On top of that, my mom had finished her coffee 45 minutes into waiting for the meal, and while three people clocked it, it took another 5 minutes AFTER the food came out to get a refill. We finished our meal at about 1:15 and kinda had to search for our server, who I’m not entirely sure she remembered us haha. Got the check 10 minutes later from a DIFFERENT server.

Would I come back? I mean yeah if it wasn’t super busy haha. DEFINITELY recommend the Ube Pancakes, that plate was amazing. The Lechon Kawali was also quite crispy!

(Sorry if this review is like mad wordy, I had a lot of time to type while waiting haha)

Great food and a great experience overall. Everything we tried was delicious, and I honestly wish I had room (and time) to explore more of the menu—especially the Filipino dishes. If what I had is any indication, those are going to be incredible. Definitely coming back hungry and curious next time.

A gem of a find for filipino breakfast! Exactly as it should be. Can’t wait to try out the rest of their filipino dishes – ask for the filipino menu! Their chefs are filipino and desserts are homemade by their filipino pastry chef as well.

To address recent reviews: Annie’s was recently featured in a TikTok influencer’s video as a Filipino-owned business to try last week. The restaurant was not aware beforehand that this video was going to be posted, and their daily business unexpectedly quadrupled overnight due to the response! They were not prepared for this sudden influx of customers in terms of staffing or production. Throughout the weekend, service was often slow, food ran out, and unfortunately, some customers were left disappointed. The staff truly tried their very best and are incredibly grateful for all the support from the community. They are a small local business and did not expect to be viral!

Annie’s is a good, consistent restaurant with friendly staff and a variety of well-made Filipino and American dishes. Please extend them a little grace as they adjust to recent events! They are in a much better place now going forward to accommodate the increased demand, and they are beyond thankful to everyone who has come by to try them out.

Horrible experience. Went to try this place out because Instagram had a video going around. Walked in at lunch time to a 20 min wait. That’s okay because I understand it’s a weekend so I didn’t mind. Got seated. Floor dirty, table cloth dirty, still have crumbs on the table. Placed a order for myself and my family. 10 mine later another lady came to confirm our order because the first lady did not write our order down properly. That’s fine it’s busy so I wasn’t upset. Watch the other lady clean the table next to us and just used her hands the brush the table clean, put the forks for the next guess on the table while touching dirty dishes. Waited a hour for our food, and the server comes up to us and says our order was going to come out soon but one of our plates was sold out. A hour or waiting for you to tell me this? Why not say something earlier so we just left. No apology just a bye. Never going back

I’ve been coming to this breakfast spot every time I visit my folks in the burbs. It’s an honest, no-frills place. pancakes, sausages, eggs, just classic comfort food!

Accidentally stopped by one Friday night and was surprised they were open. Totally different vibe with a band playing and an Asian menu. The manager, Nika suggested the beef with rice and eggs would be perfect for a Filipino food virgin LOL

Yeah… it was that good. Been ordering it ever since. Definitely worth checking out, morning or night. Love places that can surprise you like that.

Was seated quickly! Was told it was going to be 30/40 min for food no problem! But we sat at our table for 20/25 min with no interaction from anyone no waters or can I take your drink order or order, others were seated afterwards were served and offered drinks within minutes of sitting! Eventually someone came and rudely asks what do you want to order we told them nothing we were leaving and explained the situation! Their response was it’s not my fault or problem so we left! As a Filipino family we were excited to have a possible new local spot for Pinoy food but instead we were greeted with disappointment and just lazy waiters!

I’d like to add with was still early morning. So it wasn’t extremely busy!

Perhaps hire staff that are competent enough to actually do their job!

We never be returning!!!

A nice little surprise on a Saturday morning. My son and I stopped in for breakfast. We were greeted right away and say immediately. Server brought over water and coffee quickly. Scrambled eggs were just a simple order. The Denver omelette was large and full of veggies and ham. Pancakes were delicious. It was a little pricey $3.00 for coffee!

UPDATE: Police responded and documented that no suspicious activity was observed.

I had a really disappointing and uncomfortable experience at Annie’s Pancake House.

I went there on a Friday night because I wanted to get out of my house—my neighbors were smoking cigarettes and I wanted to avoid secondhand smoke. I checked Annie’s website and saw they had live music, which sounded like a nice way to spend the evening. I sat at the bar, listened to the band, had a Johnny Walker Red neat, and ordered a BLT with fries. To be clear, the food and drink were actually good, and I paid my bill without issue.

At one point, I stepped outside briefly to get some fresh air and continue listening to the music. I was standing outside watching the band through the window for a couple of minutes when the police showed up. They told me there had been a complaint that someone was “looking through windows.” I explained the situation calmly, showed my ID when asked, and told them my plan was simply to go back inside, order another drink, and continue enjoying the night.

However, when I tried to go back in, no one would serve me. The police were still standing outside, and when I asked what was going on, they told me that two members of the restaurant staff had complained and said they felt uncomfortable with me being there. That came as a complete surprise, as I hadn’t interacted with anyone inappropriately and was just minding my own business.

At that point, I told the officers I would leave if my presence was making people uncomfortable. They agreed that it was probably best, especially if the restaurant didn’t appreciate my business.

Overall, what started as a normal, quiet night out turned into an awkward and embarrassing situation. While the food was good, the way this was handled left a bad impression, and I won’t be returning.

Came here with my family for the first time today excited that we get to order Filipino food so close to home. But what a let down, whoever owns this restaurant needs to hire better staff. We waited and waited and waited. After about 20-25mins we got fed up and left. As we were leaving we overheard a server asking another server who was in charge of us and they all said “I don’t know” if you are thinking of coming here don’t ! Never seen that kind of treatment in a restaurant and we are not alone in this according to other reviews.
