Updated review:
Since the diner closed and reopened, it’s gone down hill… I went for the first time today and received a piece of charcoal for bacon and my eggs were somehow raw and overcooked at the same time and missing the yolks. How does that even happen? Will not be back.

I saw they got 4.9 stars on google. No other restaurant I’ve seen has that high a rating, so I decided to check them out. It started out with me being greeted as soon as I walked in the door. They offered me a seat. They cleaned the table before i sat down. They they asked if I wanted anything besides water. And then brought me water. I didn’t ask for it but I think it’s great and I kinda wish every place did that. Excellent customer service and hospitality. Everyone was smiling. The chef was on fire. They didn’t have Eggs Irish on the menu but they immediately offered to custom make whatever I wanted. It was so delicious. The coffee is very good too. Very fast workers and fast service. Very overtly friendly. She gave me my change before she even took my $20 because I she saw it on the table lol. Very observant. I would come back here again if I’m ever in the area for breakfast. Last but not least, it was extremely inexpensive.

There is a reason why this place walls are covered with awards!!!
The staff ROCKS!!! The cook ROCKS!!! The food ROCKS!!!
I ordered a Corned Beef Hash omelette with cheese, grilled onions and grilled English muffins… My omelette was packed with CBH at a time most places are skimping on the CBH servings… The only small issue I had is that it wasn’t a traditional fluffy omelette more like a fried egg omelette but it was still good.
Had so much food I had to bring it hone to finish.

Amazing food, as always. Menu is a little more limited since reopening but still wonderful people who put care into what they make and can give you a delicious meal within minutes. Favorite stop in Worcester.
Also here’s a picture of their new menu.

I so much wanted this place to be 5 stars but the food dragged it down.
Western Omelette came out looking like a pancake. They must add batter to their egg mixture and maybe added extra for my omelette. Also saw the cook spraying the grill with something from an aerosol can, find grill prep that doesn’t come from a factory. It’s a shame because otherwise the omelette was good. Another food issue are the homefries – cooked well and nice texture but there is a spice added which took away from rather than added to the flavor.
My suggestion would be to always crack a few eggs anytime you cook an egg dish and let the grill make the homefries yummy rather than something from a jar.
On the plus side, great service, coffee, and price.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Pricing, food and service all a home run. Food is unreal.

The ridiculously inexpensive price of our meals did not match the old fashioned flare of culinary decadence and paramount service. Such a cool vibe while we enjoyed our great food in this very clean, friendly hidden gem in Worcester. Been around for years….they don’t make ’em like they used to….kudos to you Annie!
Just remember cash only.

I ate here for the first time a few months ago and since has become my favorite spot to eat. Whether you’re ordering breakfast or lunch, you can be sure Annie will make you a plate that tastes like it’s your grandmother’s family recipe (and not some generic tasting meal). Everything is made with only the best ingredients and you’ll certainly be able to taste the difference. And you can’t beat her prices! I highly recommend this corner gem – and you’ll probably see me there when you do!
