Always excellent service and great food. Today we had fried shrimp, cole slaw, cheesy grits, and a BBQ pork sandwich. All absolutely excellent. Corn meal coated fried shrimp are my favorite and they were delicious. The pork was tender and had great flavor, didn’t even need BBQ sauce.
Best home cooking on the island.

We enjoyed a made-to-order breakfast and it didn’t cost much. My bargain-hunting friends will love hearing about this place. The waitress was friendly and told us all about the cafe. The cozy dining room used to be a dance hall and the cook preparing our meal was Annie’s granddaughter. One of Florida’s governors from way back frequented the place and his framed portrait appears on the wall. We loved the stories as much as the food. The biscuits were my favorite but the eggs with both grits and potatoes were yummy too. We loved the casual friendly vibe in Annie’s and it won’t be long until we come back to experience it again.

This is an authentic Florida restaurant. They even have Mullet on their breakfast menu. They offer three dining areas. Indoor dining area, a screened in area, and outdoor deck seating. And there is a separate bar area. Food is good and the prices area reasonable.

We went for breakfast and it was very good. Service was great and friendly. The food was not fancy, just solid breakfast done well. I got 2 over easy eggs with bacon and grits, and a half order of biscuit and gravy. Eggs cooked perfect, bacon tasted delicious. The biscuit and gravy was delicious. My wife got a sausage and egg sandwich that was a good size and it was also delicious. Prices are reasonable for what you get especially since it’s tourist town.
