staff were nice and the inside was very cute homey diner and outside seating has a nice view of the planes.
TIP: GO ON A WEEK DAY INSTEAD OF A WEEKEND. IT IS QUITE POPULAR FOR WEEKEND BREAKFAST, BUT NO LONGER THAN A 20-30 MIN WAIT.
I HAVE ENJOYED A SEAT OUT ON THE PATIO TO WATCH THE PLANES COME AND GO ONTO THE SMALL STRIP OF THE AIRPORT.
THERE ARE SIGN UPS FOR FLIGHT SCHOOLS, AERIAL PHOTOS OF OTHER LOCAL SMALL AIRPORTS. AND A SMALL PATIO WHERE YOU CAN ALSO WAIT FOR YOUR TABLE TO BE READY AS WELL.
THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND TASTY. I GOT THE CHILAQUILES AND THE FRENCH TOAST PLATE, AND A SMALL MENUDO FOR START.
EVERYTHING ACTUALLY CAME OUT QUITE FAST AND TASTED GREAT. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS PERFECT.
I don’t know ifntheybwere short staffed but our server had tables inside and outside therefore spreading him thin and didn’t allow him to check on/service us properly.
Food was great! High quality
Pros:
Wide variety of tasty dishes
Fresh, high-quality ingredients
Friendly and attentive staff
Pleasant and cozy atmosphere
Cons:
Waiting time can be long during peak hours
Prices are slightly above average
Limited parking nearby
Breakfast all day. Big Mexican food selection with off the planet salsa. So good!
Burgers and sandwiches as well.
Inside and outside seating.
Best to come early, anything after 9 AM.You’re gonna be waiting for a table on the weekends.
The pancakes were big and fluffy but had a really funny taste. So we left it almost untouched. Wich we never do whit Pancakes due we love Pancakes.
We hear and read so much good about that place, so we give them another chance next time we’re in the area.
Food: this was my first time here and my sister recommended that I try the Sants Fe Melt. I got the sandwich with 50/50 fries and onion rings. The sandwich was delicious. The best was nicely toasted but still not too toasted. The onion rings were bomb, highly recommend them, I do wish they have you more onion rings like the hat does but I’d still get as many as I can haha. Fried were good as well, hard to mess up cried unless they are soggy, otherwise good as well.
Service: We came here as a company paid lunch, as soon as we arrived we were told where we could sit as the waiter was getting us out menus, it was really busy while we were there but we sat immediately with no wait, other people’s experience may differ. Food arrived relatively quickly and was fresh. I want to come back and try more on their menu which has a lot of options. Servers were all nice, our drinks were always full and they had a dodger game playing on some of the tvs. I’d come here by myself to enjoy good food and entertainment.
Ambiance/Vibes: Classic diner vibes but in an airport. People were all talking of all walks of life I’d say. Everyone was respectable from what I observed. I really enjoyed the vibe of the place, super relaxed.
I’d say it’s worth a visit if you like the classic diner vibes.
