Annette’s is the kind of place that makes you forget what season it is — one spoonful of that passion fruit Italian ice and suddenly you’re on a beach somewhere, hair in the breeze, possibly with a ukulele playing in the distance. The mango? Oh, that one’s pure sunshine — bright, juicy, and dangerously addictive.
The staff are as warm as the day is long, and even the moon would have heart-eyes watching us enjoy these cups of happiness.

Delicious homemade Italian Ice and Ice Cream in the heart of Lincoln Park. While visiting it’s nice to take a walk and enjoy your Ice, Ice Cream, Shake, Frozen lemonade, or Frozen Yogurt. They even offer Frosty paw’s for pets. Also, this is a cash only establishment. My family and I ordered the following.

We stopped by on a Saturday night and it was a bit chilly. There were 10 people in line when we got there. The only seating they have is outside. I was surprised they had a Lychee Italian ice, you don’t come across that flavor too often, it was delicious.
It’s cash only which kind of bugs me since I barely use cash for anything, but I’ll be back again to try some different flavors.

We really liked the variety of flavors and the large menu they have. Butter pecan, pistachio almond, coffee ice cream were tasty! I had fresh strawberries on top of mine and it was soo good! We will definitely come back to this place to try some more of their menu! Sorry no pictures, it was cold outside and we were too excited to eat the ice cream lol

They only accept cash. ATM available next to the store but when we got there it was trippy.
There was a line when we got there (7pm). Waited around 10mins in line but it was fast moving.
Few seats available upfront.
We loved everything that we ordered! A bit expensive though. Hope they can change the spoons they use as what we got had some sharp edges on it.
Will be back next time and try the italian ice cream.

Annette’s is a Chicago classic! I’ve always seen a line wrapped around the corner and I’ve wondered what the hype was all about. Annette’s has a large overwhelming menu with all amazing options to try — I wanted to eat it all. Such tasty options from fruity seasonal flavors to the indulgent flavors Annette’s has everything for any sweet lover from ice cream, to sundaes to, Italian ice. Remember it’s cash only so be prepared, if not they have an ATM available for you to get cash if you need it!

Cozy counter-serve italian ice place that also has some other offerings as well. I went here twice in the same week because it was that good. The first time i got the blood orange and the texture of the ice was perfect. The flavoring is fresh and taste like actual fruit. The second time I got strawberry with chocolate fro yo. This combo was bomb and the strawberry flavor is very authentic. The service was quick and the women at the counter both times was so sweet. This will most definitely be an essential for me going forward.

Very simple to go ice cream with some seating outside. They only accept cash. I ordered the lycee Italian ice and was pleasantly surprised that there was finely grated pieces of real lychee fruit in there. It was very smooth, refreshing and delicious.

the place only accepts cash and has an atm nearby in case you don’t have any on hand. the line was long but moved pretty fast. i got the italian froyo and it was so good. the italian ice paired so well with the frozen yogurt. they have a large menu with tons of flavors and desserts to choose from. i would definitely get again if i’m ever in the area

Great ice cream and great service. There was a line whe whole time we were there, so it’s popular! It moved quick, though.
