Great portions, prices, and service at this local spot for those traveling through to get to the Smoky Mountains. Hubby’s Chicken Philly was made well with extra crispy tots. The kids meal comes with a side so my daughters enjoyed their grilled cheese. The sausage was cooked perfectly with no chewy/hard pieces. The pecan pancakes were huge, I could only finish 1 of 3. They were loaded with pecans. The coconut cake slice was delicious and a perfect way to end the meal. So glad we stopped in.

Took a chance with this one and won BIG! Food was delicious and super affordable. Fried chicken special, fried chicken, two sides, bread, AND dessert for $10! And it was absolutely wonderful. The mashed potatoes had my dad nearly tearing up at the table talking bout he ain’t had homemade potatoes like this in 40 years . And the staff were super super friendly and attentive. Constantly asking how they can help/serve us. We will be back soon!

Great little old hole in the wall breakfast diner. Good prices, quick service, and friendly staff. I would eat here again to avoid larger more commercial places.

Whether you’re traveling through or local, this is a MUST have.
I’ve lived in the area for almost 8 years now and this is my favorite restaurant, hands down. I wanted to show my appreciation since the recent road work in town has been affecting the local businesses there. They deserve all the love and support. The staff is wonderful and attentive, the food is always great, with hearty portions that come out fast! and the prices are SO affordable, you can give them another try without hurting your wallet. I’ll post a pic or two from my visits here along the years.
If you visit just once, you’ll definitely stop by again and again. ❤️

Visiting area from Atlanta. This brunch cafe did not disappoint!! More than generous portions (I had loaded omelet with grits/biscuit! Hubby had fried steak and gravy with grits and biscuit!) We were delighted with all the servers (yes, they were busy with tables full and everyone was pitching in to help each other! Very friendly and welcoming!

My travel bestie and I ate there for the first time December 14,2025. Had a burger for breakfast. It was so good. It’s a little homey cafe and everyone was so friendly. We live about 6 hours a way. We are going antique shopping tomorrow and are heading back to Dillard and we are eating at Annette’s. Can’t wait. 6 hours for another burger. Yes!

We had high hopes for this one, but it was just okay. The biscuits were dry and tasted like uncooked flour. The country ham was old and had a weird flavor, and the eggs were the best part of the meal. The bacon was good and on the sweet side. We only had breakfast, so not sure what lunch would be like.

Incredible pancakes, even many hours later. They did forget my pancakes at first, but that is entirely acceptable, after eating them. I took them as I left and saved them for a few hours in my backseat, and then enjoyed the fluffy, buttery, delectable, perfectly done pancakes hours later at a peaceful campsite. The butter they were served with was likely the best dipping butter I have ever encountered, paired with the syrup and birdsong, it was my favorite pancake eating experience to date. Thank you for the incredible pancakes.
