I had a poor experience at another establishment before stopping at Anne’s to pick up some snacks while traveling through the area as part of my quest to visit all 100 NC counties.
I did not read reviews before stopping, but my experience was fine. The cashier gave me recommendations, and packaged my donuts well.
I wanted to try some of the pastries as well, but I just bought the filled donuts. Wow! They didn’t look that great but they were well filled and delicious. The filling and the donut itself. Often the donut, with filled ones, can be bland.
Easy to park and clean restrooms. I’ll definitely go back the next time I’m in town. Also reasonable prices.

I’ve been eating Anne’s Doughnuts since I was a little girl. I’ve always loved the doughnuts and never had an issue with the service. I recently visited to get a box of a dozen glazed. The lady at the window was very unpleasant. She seemed annoyed by my presence. I greeted her and she just started at me and said nothing. I told her my order and she walked away from the window still not saying a word. She returns to the window tells me my total and I asked if they accepted Tap because I didn’t have my physical card on hand. She replied “no” in a very irritated way so I just said thank you and drove off. I hope the company takes these reviews/complaints serious and implement some customer service teachings ASAP. They have lost a loyal customer and I have advised my family to never visit this establishment again.

Fluffy cloud like donuts ! They don’t skimp on the sugar around here ! My favorites are the cream cheese and the apple filled donuts. Get there early! Cheaper prices than fast food donuts and wayyy better quality!

I’ve been meaning to here and they were busy. It is a lovely building and the person behind the counter was pleasant even on her last day. So many items looked good and the pricing is very affordable. The doughnuts I had were good, but there was an aftertaste with the filling that was off-putting. They were still good. I’m willing to come back.

This place became my favorite for Doughnuts . Really liking the original glazed and filled ones too. I would recommend to taste cupcakes as well. They are really soft and tasty. They serve every item fresh. You can also get birthday cakes

All around amazing bakery…from their doughnuts to custom cakes! Their doughnuts are melt in your mouth delicious! We got a custom cake for my daughters first birthday that not only turned out exactly as I had pictured in my head and looked amazing but it was also the BEST cake I have ever had! We ordered the layered round cake in pineapple flavor! It was amazing with chunks of delicious pineapple between eat later! The cake had so much flavor and was super moist! The frosting was also delicious! Will definitely be using them again!

Ok here we go. So I ordered this cake a week prior to my son’s bday. I paid right at $90 for two dozen cupcakes (not pictured) that had orange colored original cake with white icing and small green sprinkles, and then the price also included the cake pictured which under the icing had two layers of orange colored cake also. The taste was great for all!!! I did want the green pouring look to cover the to of the cake also and not just the sides but it won’t no biggie to me. As you can may or may not tell from the pictures the cake was not even on the board it was placed on and some how shifted and smushed up against the box it come in. Now the lady did open the box before I ever left the shop to show me my cake. I did not pay attention to this prior to leaving with the cake so if it was already like this in the box i did not notice before leaving and that’s my own fault. I probably wouldn’t have said anything anyways since I was a few minutes past their closing time on a Sunday and the lady was nice enough to remain open for me to come get my order. She was very nice once I got there and even offered to help me with my order out to the car. The mandalorian cake topper and candles were ordered from another company and not supplied by Anne’s. I will probably aim for a more detailed cake next time considering the price I did pay and then it was pretty smushed in the back. But my son was happy with it smushed or not and that’s all that mattered to me.

Because the donuts was seal in a white box, so when I decide to open the box to eat them for dessert, it was not what was advertised on their website . I had miniture donut’s not regular size . The price $9.00 and change was not worth it. Next time I return I will order them fresh, so I know what I am paying for and the box is not seal. It’s was small in size, but big on taste.
