We had the stuffed long hots (VERY hot!), the salmon and the chicken off the menu. Our server offered the chicken over pasta which was a great idea! We had a take out order of the nonna’s ravioli with the prime rib meatball. The food was all very tasty and reasonably priced. We sat in a cute semi private high top table- “The Wine Cellar”.
Taylor was great.. friendly and helpful.. and we hope to come back and check out the quaint shops on the street and hopefully the halibut from the menu.

The bread was meh with a dip which tasted like bottled dressing with capers.
Appetizers: Escargot severed over fried base which was not a compatible. Try good rustic bread drizzled with butter-garlic sauce topped with escargot.
The Vineyard salad was a Vintage salad. Not fresh lettuces; one step to wilt-throw out tomorrow. No crunch when fork picked up any leaf-not good!
Plain Oysters on half-shell with lemon; only 5 were served. In dining from East & West Coast and Europe “6” oysters were always plated, unless bought per oyster.
After inquiring the servers were totally confused. 15 mins later I was told “That’s our policy.” Googled it; 6 is the normal serving across the board.
The Chilean Sea Bass was cooked well. Unfortunately it sat in a both that was laden with oil one couldn’t dip the mediocre bread into it if desired. There was a ring of oil in the bowl with herbs stuck to the sides.
My birthday guest ordered prime rib ravioli with a lump of burrata in the middle. It was not warm enough to blend into the skippy amount of sauce. The ravioli was al dente, very good. Burrata serve with pasta should be blended into both creating a creaminess that uplifts the sauces clinging to the pasta. This did not.
Looking for tiramisu but disappointed as it a “no show” in the dessert menu.
The atmosphere was tired & uninspiring. Servers are pleasant but not experienced.
Bathroom was almost clean.
I’m very sorry that I can not recommend this establishment.
We started with a cheese platter, which was disappointing. It appeared to be the same cheese served in three different piles, lacking variety. They were also out of my first entrée choice, so I opted for the salmon. The skin was a little too burnt and the overall presentation lacked.
My friend ordered the lamb chops and felt similarly underwhelmed, noting they weren’t very flavorful or memorable.
Overall, while the setting and wine selection were nice, the food didn’t live up to expectations for us.
Annata Wine Bar in Hammonton turned out to be the perfect spot for an impromptu celebration! The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the ideal setting for a relaxed gathering.
Their wine selection is nothing short of impressive. With a wide variety to choose from, there’s something to cater to every palate. I was particularly impressed by the knowledgeable staff who helped me find the perfect glass to complement our meal.
Speaking of the food, the scallops were absolutely divine! Perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, they were a standout dish. While I didn’t have the chance to explore the rest of the menu, the quality of the scallops is a testament to the kitchen’s expertise.
Overall, Annata Wine Bar exceeded my expectations. It’s a fantastic spot for a casual night out or a special occasion. I highly recommend it!
The good was AMAZING! Great options, fresh and plated nicely.
