I have been eyeballing this place for a very long time. I wasn’t exactly sure of where it was located. It’s in a good area a little out of the way. The decor is a bit dated & the videos online on the website from customers didn’t make me rush over. However, I waa pleasantly surprised today. I ordered a last minute lunch special before they close at 2pm to reopen at 4pm for dinner hours. The guy at the front desk and the lady cook were both very kind, attentive, and hospitable. My food was ready in a quick 10 minutes. Very convenient if I have my car but, usually around this time of day I am parked in a huge parking structure far away from my job so I don’t usually drive anywhere during my lunch break at 1pm. I ordered the #10 and a side of spring rolls which are my new favorite. The plant based beef reminds me of the beef bugolgi that I get on occasion from Trader Joe’s but, Anna’s texture is slightly more chewy. The rice and fresh salad all refreshing and delicious. I am interested in trying more dishes and will load more photos. I want to try the orange vegan chicken dish soon. All in All great first experience. I grabbed menus for my daughter and I next time we want some plant-based food before 7pm Tuesday through Friday. We have another new option on our list.

Great hole-in-the-wall mom and pop Asian spot, regardless of your diet. I’m not even vegetarian and I think Anna’s may be my local favorite.
Tough to thread the needle on some odd hours but consistently worth the effort.

Good quick service and great vegan food! We ordered the ‘chicken’ drumstick which is a fried soy drumstick. We also ordered the Mongolian ‘beef’, orange ‘chicken,’ pineapple fried rice, and Au Lac which is a large piece of soy ‘meat’ sliced with sauce and salad. All the dishes were delicious and had distinct different flavors. My only complaint was the batter on the orange chicken was very thick, I usually like it thinner (I’ve had some great orange soy chicken in SF so I’ve been spoiled!). Would definitely come back, the prices are very reasonable as well!

Annas Vegan Cafe is small but mighty! They are a 100% vegan restaurant and (in my opinion) they are Sacramento’s BEST option for Vegan Chinese food! The food comes out fast and they are quite friendly. I only wish they were open every day!

Amazing food such a good price. The man at the front was so sweet and you can tell they build relationships with customers, so many regulars came in while we waited for food, everyone seemed to love the place! Everything was amazing and we will be coming back so many times ❤️

Lovely vegan cafe with a focus on recreating traditional Asian foods, specifically Thai, Mongolian, Chinese and Indian, but with every item on the menu being vegan! It was a delightful, inexpensive, causal and cozy dining experience for lunch. I enjoyed talking with the owner and learning some of her story of opening the place and naming it for het daughter, Anna. I would certainly recommend the restaurant and I hope to return soon!

Been coming here for years and it’s great! The menu is simple and easy to follow. Very tasty and inexpensive with quick turnaround times make it a very competitive place. Compared to the other places like loving hut in Elk Grove, this place is much more stir fry oriented. My favorites here is the wonder pineapple spicy and the egglplant tofu lunch special in the picture provided.

Service was fast and friendly. Quiet on a Sunday directly at 5pm but picks up. Loved how the whole restaurant and menu was vegan. They’re cheap, fast, and Vegan. A must try.

I think if you’re looking for vegan Asian food, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I feel like it’s very average.
