I read the reviews prior to ordering from this place and yah told a lot of lies on here. It was am awful experience and less than one star was due this ‘restaurant’ if you could call it that. The casava leaf was spoiled, as if it sat out all day and half the night. The lamb was burnt beyond recognition, the jollof rice was green and the atteke was missing. You people should be ashamed of yourself to sell people this garbage. This food literally made me puke…and I would not exaggerate about something as serious as this. When I say never again…I mean never EVER again!!! I had to take pictures of this mess. Just purchased to 5/21/25 around 6pm. The outside picture I took after I threw the cassava leaf out prior to opening the burnt lamb. SHAME ON YOU!

I love, love, love this place!! It has the best lamb chops, grilled chicken and fried rice topped with a sauteed brown onion gravy sauce.. Reminds me of my trip to West Africa

The service was nice the lady who served me was very friendly. But I’m sad to say the food was absolutely horrible . I ordered cassava leaf an fufu an my fufu looked like soup when I got home. I don’t no if it wasn’t made right or not but i do no it was not supposed to be that thin a loose. The cassava leaf was ok but not great. It was kinda sweet so it didn’t taste rightist would give service 4 stars but food definitely a solid 1. You just can’t eat African food from every African restaurant. Lesson learned .

The food is very good. I’ve had different dishes different times of the year. They serve many African dishes, a few American dishes, they’re all very good. You may have to use cash if no one’s available to accept your debit card. It’s easy accessible by car and by public transportation.

I wish I could give them zero stars. This was my first and last time ever buying from Anna’s Restaurant. I ordered the cassava leaf with white rice and it was horrible. Even the smell instantly turned me off and the taste/ flavor… well there was none. It was nasty. It’s sad that this was my first time ever buying from them and this is the experience I had but I most definitely will not be buying from them ever again. Period.

There’s NEVER a time I order from them and my food Doesn’t taste good. The best African food I’ve had!! I get so disapointed when I try other places because it Doesn’t taste the same as Anna food at all. She’s ALWAYS nice and my food is always good. Grilled fish, cassava leaf amazing. My fiance always gets the chicken w/ jollof rice. Delicious as well

I LOVE AFRICAN/CARIBBEAN FOOD LET ME SAY THAT!! Yesterday I bought Cassava leaf and they served it with white rice NEVER in my days have I had cassava leaf with white rice and not only that but the rice was mushy and over cooked. I was not happy the cassava leaf taste like it was grinded up and it was soupy. I was so unhappy with my food. I bought from them b4 and their food was good but this has me not wanting to go back. Nasty!!
