I wanted to love this little diner. I miss old America and the old style, local diners. Sadly, this diner failed in several ways-but they can all be corrected with staff changes. The interior is old and dated, as one would expect-however, it could be cleaner. While the menu is large and very inexpensive-and food smells and taste great-it’s served with grumpy staff. The older lady waiting tables seems very unhappy, she is unpleasant, and not welcoming. Had she offered the old style charm one would expect from an old time diner and someone of her age, the place would have been a great step-back into time and a great experience. Sadly her attitude and gruff ruined the experience for me.

The tzatziki is fresh and delicious, the pita is warm and toasty, the gyro meat is crispy and juicy, and the baklava is as big as your head! We are delighted to know that this restaurant is here. You feel like family, the prices can’t be beaten, and the flavors are wonderful. I had a bowl of Greek lemon chicken soup, which was tart and creamy, to go with my gyro and barely had room for dessert! But where there’s baklava, there’s ALWAYS room for dessert. 10/10, highly recommend.

Fresh, and delicious, friendly service. Love the gyros, soup, salads and baklava. The falafel plate is a great starter. Order extra tzatkiki sauce because it is so yummy. Pitas are fresh and soft. A local gem.

It’s smaller on the inside than I realized. Their gyros, ruebens, and fries are delicious. The baklava is to die for. The owner is a nice gut. We chatted while I waited for my take out. Our food was made quickly and tasted great.

The lady who was at the Register was rude and nasty, almost to the point in which I was going to cancel my order and walk out. I asked for napkins for the 2 boxes of powder sugar cookies and a straw for the can soda I added to my order and purchased more, yet she rolled her eyes at me and seemed very annoyed, as if me adding $14 more to my order was an issue, I’ll Never support such rude and unprofessional discourteous behavior that was totally unnecessary and unprovoked, this is unacceptable for napkin and a straw, she said he husband worked there so maybe she’s the owner, but I honestly regret giving her my business after the way she reacted and behaved. Totally felt uncomfortable, never again.
