From the moment I walked in, it had such a warm, family-friendly vibe — the kind of restaurant where everyone greets you with a smile and the food truly tastes homemade. ordered the Grandma Pizza, and wow… one of the best I’ve ever had! The cheese was melted just right, and the balance between sauce and toppings was perfect. Service was quick, the staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed — perfect for a casual date night or dinner with family.

Terrible experience from the moment we walked in. We were visiting from out of town and had just left a Christmas party, looking to grab a quick bite to eat around 8:15 PM. When we entered the nearly empty restaurant, we overheard an employee say, “oh my lord,” which immediately made us feel unwelcome.
We approached the counter and asked if they were still open and were told they were open until 10 PM. I then asked if we should seat ourselve and the girl behind the counter nodded. We seated ourselves near the kitchen, where we could clearly see several employees behind the counter. Despite this, no one acknowledged us, greeted us, or brought menus. After several minutes, it was clear we were not welcome so we left even though they were open for another hour and forty-five minutes.
Since we weren’t familiar with the area, we Googled another local pizza place and found Little Italy Restaurant just four minutes away. Even though they were closing at 9 PM, we walked in at 8:30 and were immediately greeted by three friendly women. The restaurant was clean, music was playing, we were seated promptly, and given menus right away. The pizza was absolutely amazing, and we tipped nearly 70% because the service was worlds better than what we experienced at Anna’s.
As a server myself, I truly appreciate friendly, welcoming service and unfortunately, this was the complete opposite here.

I visited the city and stopped here on a recommendation. Enjoyed my spaghetti dinner with a salad and bread. My son ordered the turkey,ham, and cheese sandwich and fries. The service was timely, and the food was delicious and great hospitality. Nice atmosphere for date nite or a family outing. We ate inside the restaurant and I noticed outside seating.

Wednesday is pizza night so we split a pizza. So. Much better than Papa John’s or Dominion’s haha! My mom got the clam chowder and like it a lot! We also shared the deluxe salad. No olives add feta. Very good too! Anna is always working and has a smile on her face! I know she appreciates our business and we like to support local restaurants! Cheers

Visited on a bright summer day to find a warm, inviting lunch spot. Our large group was accommodated with ease, even though we ranged across many tables. Our waitress handled all of our orders with ease and patience. Loved the eggplant parm sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their pizzas, wraps, sandwiches, and salads. Lots of options. Solid, dependable dining.

My wife and I visited Anna’s Pizza, we were excited to try it. But I doubt we’ll ever go back. My wife ordered the lasagna, never in my life have I seen a 1 layer lasagna with no sauce and cheddar cheese. I ordered a slice of pizza which I was told they ran out of, got the kids pizza which was soggy. The waitress never came back to check on us of refill our drinks, but had no problem going to sit with other customers. I guess my wife and I will stick with Vinny’s or Giuseppe’s Pizza from now on.

The pizza is really good and the staff are great, however when dining in and going to the restroom, I passed a storage area and saw a case of canned Progresso Minestrone soup. No respectable Italian restaurant should be selling warmed up canned soup for $7.25 a serving. Do better.

I love this place and have been going here for years. I drive from New Kent almost every Sunday to enjoy lunch here. The food is amazing, the prices are super reasonable, and the service is amazing. I highly recommend this place and if you go in ask for Tammy she is literally the BEST!!!
