Very disappointed with our experience. I ordered a Mumbai frankie with mozzarella cheese, but it was served with cheddar cheese instead. My husband ordered a masala dosa, and surprisingly, there was hardly any difference in taste or filling between the frankie and the dosa. Both felt very similar and lacked authenticity.
We also ordered kitchari, and it did not taste like kitchari at all. I have had authentic Ayurveda/yoga food in India before, and the flavors here were nothing close to what it should be. Overall, the food was not authentic and did not meet our expectations.
Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

This is a very small local chain that you can find in New Mexico. It offers Ayurvedic food. This means it’s all vegetarian and much of it is vegan. The food quality is super high, it’s quite tasty, and the place and the food are very clean. It’s such a blessing to have a place like this to eat while traveling in New Mexico!

Good place for clean vegetarian eating, although I’m not sure if everything is organic. Use of dosa to replace tortilla is genius! Food is tasty but may be a little under seasoned for some. Portions are filling. Kirtan music can be a bit distracting.

At Annapurna’s World Vegetarian Cafe I ordered the Falafel, but they only have a wrap, so I asked if they could make a sandwich
they agreed and attempted to make one for me but it was not too great.
I would NOT agree to their suggestion of cheese again on a falafel sandwich again
overall the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I like that you can see into the kitchen too
the fries were good, but the watery ‘garlic sauce’ will be a pass in the future
Looking forward to trying more of their menu when I am in the area

Every time I come here lately, the food is different. Today the soup of the day is sambar. This is supposed to be a lentil soup that is red in color. It used to be that way.

I’ve already stopped ordering water from these people because it taste like crap

But now I’m thinking “ is that the same water that they’re cooking everything with too?”

Starting to get turned off to this place.

The main problem about this Indian restaurant is that most of the food does not taste like Indian food. One of the most popular Indian dishes, the dosa, looked and tasted more like a flat bread. Dosas are also normally served with curries like sambar and chutney. However, the curries served here are very odd. Absolutely no flavour and only God knows what the curries are made out of. It also seemed that the people there did not know what these foods were supposed to look like. We told the employees there that the dosas are supposed to be thin, and it took a minute to finally get them to understand what they were supposed to look like.

Are you vegan or vegetarian? Do you believe that what you eat can define you? Do you like really, really clean, delicious, invigorating food? All of the above? Get over here!

I haven’t seen a place this charmingly interesting since since I chased that arms dealer around Minos. Every day new vegetable special soups, Indian and Nepalese inspired dishes, and come on…..the Pad Thai is one of the best I’ve had. They even have a fantastically authentic tasting vegan saag (something I typically have to miss out on, but not here!)

Tea and coffee selections are amazing, baked goods for sale, excellent service, the place looks amazing. Every time we stop through Santa Fe, we always stop at Annapurna’s.

Absorb the amazing concept, savor the uniquely incredible dishes, feel the complete food heal and ignite your senses. You can’t go wrong.

“Is this the lowest level of restaurant that you have been” asked my new 11 year old friend when I took her and her mom for the first time to a vegan restaurant here. That probably says a lot even though she liked the bean soup. I don’t think that anyone comes here for ambience or great service, or to see nicely dressed people. Food is usually good but the quality varies from time to time, and by location. My favorite is stir fry with coconut milk. It’s much better in their Eubank location in Albuquerque. This was more watery and tasted salty. I prefer my broccoli be all green. They don’t seem to pay much attention to the quality of the vegetables. Sorry that I couldn’t give full five stars.

Delicious and nutritious Indian food. Love their Chai. Masala Dosa and Veggies of the day, Lentil soup, Chile Fries, Pad Thai, are some of my favorite on the menu. Love the atmosphere too.

Super kind! It was so fun to hang out here. The food was delicious. Complex in flavors yet not overwhelming. The golden milk was so good! If I come back through this will be my first stop!
