The wonderful smell of spices as you walk into the restaurant was amazing as well as the food.
We didn’t book, but I think it might be an idea to book a table over the weekend. The restaurant is very popular and throughout the evening people were collecting carry out or having a meal at the table.
The staff are very friendly.

We have visited 50 Asian restaurants over the last 12 months, all around the UK. Without hesitation this was the best Asian meal we’ve had during that time, and it definitely sits in our top 5 of all time. The food was absolutely fantastic! What more can I say.

Delicious food for good price, I think. I didn’t have to wait long for my order. I could tell the food was prepared by experienced cook. It was as spicy as I like it. Was neither too hot nor cold. Looks good as well. They keep the place clean, which is extremely important to me for any restaurant. I wish all places were as tidy as this one. Very friendly atmosphere and decor details in gurkha’s theme, like some himalayas mountain pics on the walls.

Had a delicious early Saturday meal with Mrs g here. Food is still wonderful and service so warm and friendly.
Popped in here for a business lunch and had a very tasty two courses washed down with a pint of cobra. Food was amazingly tasty. Yes a curry but a curry which was full of different tastes with every different mouthful. The peshwana coconut bread is something to die for. The service was smart, polite and on time but don’t expect any conversation with the staff unless you are a frequent visitor.

Everything was perfectly cooked and thoroughly delicious
Was surprised at the amount of chicken in the jalfrezi IE masses.
The above was split between us both and we couldn’t finish it all.
Certainly not the cheapest but you pay for quality

They had a wide variety of dishes and decent prices, but that was all.
I had to get some momos for starter. First of all it took 30min for them to make em (they told me in advance). Second of all it was just basic minced chicken. Could not taste any herbs.
It took even longer to get the starter. It was spicy which was good. Chicken was overcooked tho and dry.
Service was ok. Not really great interactions. Also asked for recommendations, but didnt really get a good response.

Lovely place, staff were sweet and friendly, menu is extensive and catered well for a pescatarian. Portions are big. Booked and was glad I had as restaurant filled up pretty quickly. Will definitely return.
