Very cool vegetarian spot in Queens. I ordered the samosa, masala dosa and potato-onion-cashew masala (curry with rice) and lentil soap. The lentil soap was so hearty, I believe there’s coconut in it. The samosa was also not too greasy and very light, which I enjoyed. I particularly like the crunchyness of the rice and lentil crepe with the filling inside. Overall, I had a pleasant experience.

I’ve been waiting to come here for years. And it was well worth the wait. I had the Beyond burger with a mixed vegetable drink and the soup I had was called a sambhar. The place was really peaceful with the flute music in the background. They only accept cash and the Q65 bus stops right in front of the restaurant. I was so happy that I also took food to go for lunch tomorrow afternoon. I’ll definitely come here on my days off from work.

The best vegetarian food I’ve eaten. So much choice. I love the curry dosa. And mango Lassi is great. The Holy Cow is steamed veges with feta cheese, healthy and big portion. Desserts are so good too. They have different specials each day.

I’ve been here dozens of times, and it’s a must for vegetarians in Queens. The menu is very old-school, so don’t expect anything trendy or elaborate, but do expect to receive warm service and good food in a tranquil setting.
