One of my all time favorites, you are greeted the minute you walk in the door and feel like you’re family. The pizza is delicious and the anti pasta salad was fantastic. Tracy our waitress was super polite and very funny. She made us feel taken care of but not rushed. Will be coming back again and again.

The Food is absolutely Great!! What a selection! The fresh sauce that you dip your garlic knotts or garlic bread in is second to None! One of the best in New Jersey!!

This pizza was absolutely amazing! It was grilled chicken with spinach and mushrooms. Wait time was about 20 minutes. Service was good and prices were decent as the slices were huge!

Always a great meal at Annabella’s. This time I enjoyed the Grilled Chicken and Portabella wrap.

Being from metro Detroit, I frequently stay in the area and your food is top-notch. Some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life.

Staff were friendly and the pasta was decent. It was $22 for pasta, salad, and garlic bread–really good value. The marinara sauce was quite oily so beware if you don’t respond well to oily foods.

I almost never leave reviews but I’ve got to say that the pizza here is really bad. I mean, I didn’t expect top tier pizza but when I opened the box of the large plain pie I had ordered to find a massive pool of cheese literally sloshing around the box I knew I was in trouble. Because there’s WAY too much cheese, grabbing an intact slice was nearly impossible until it had congealed into a hardened, bulky mass of bread, sauce, and cheese. None-the-less I tried. After a couple bites (during which I fought hard to keep some cheese on otherwise it would be just a wet triangle of bread) I realized that my mouth was burning not from heat but from an unnecessary amount of salt. I assume it’s the sauce but I guess it could’ve been the dough or perhaps some combination of the two. Anyway, I’ve eaten enough NJ/NY pizza to know that there’s a range: the fancy artisanal stuff, bar pies, regular “grab a couple slices” joints, and so on and that they all have their place and should be evaluated differently. But the pizza Annabella’s serves is borderline inedible—I guess the only thing that would make it worse would be if the sauce had a lot of sugar in it—which is doesn’t, so that’s a plus. I suspect they have such high ratings for one of two reasons: 1/They’ve pumped it up with fake accounts, friends, etc 2/They cater almost exclusively to people traveling for business who are from parts of the country/world where pizza is so abysmal (think gas station pizza) that this stuff seems genuinely good. Either way, for anyone looking to NOT feel ill the morning after eating this pizza, look elsewhere.

I stopped in for takeout to grab some lunch today and I’m glad I did! I ordered a slice of the Grandma’s pizza and a side order of meatballs and sauce. The pizza crust was crispy and the mozzarella and sauce were outstanding. Fresh basil and a dollop of more savory sauce made this slice a winner. Grandma’s is my favorite type of pizza and Annabella’s didn’t disappoint one bit. The meatballs here are out of this world. They are huge and so flavorful. The sauce, albeit a tad sweeter of a variety than I’m familiar, was delightful. The service was friendly and I didn’t have to wait long for the food. The establishment inside is not your run-of-the-mill pizzeria. There are actual chandeliers hung for lighting, and the backdrop seems Tuscan-inspired, complete with classic statues standing within carved archways. The restaurant seems to attract a family-friendly crowd. Lastly, this restaurant is BYOB…very nice! They also cater. I’ll be back to try something new soon. First impressions? Nothing but positive. Keep up the great work and incredible cooking!

Wandered in on a quiet Sunday, and we were absolutely blown away by the quality of the food. They even made a dish exactly to my husband’s request, and he loved it. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere as well, will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

From far away, I was tasked with finding a venue for a 90th birthday party for about 25 people. It was for a Sunday afternoon, and there were not a lot of options in the area, but I spoke with an owner of Annabella’s and he assured me that they could do it. It was just a verbal agreement and I was a bit nervous, but when I stopped into the restaurant the day before to confirm everything, I felt much better, as the venue was lovely and very clean. Then, when we met Tracy, one of the owners, the next day, I was pleasantly surprised as she was there for us! Tracy and the staff provided for all of our needs and went over and beyond to ensure that our wants were met and then some. The food and cake were delicious, and the experience a delight. I cannot thank Tracy, JC and Enio enough for making this special day for us perfect. They really made us feel like family, and Mom will always remember her wonderful 90th birthday party!
