Absolutely fantastic experience at Anjon’s. The restaurant itself is stunning, with beautiful interior décor that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were incredibly nice and genuinely enthusiastic about their service, which made the whole experience even better.
The food was excellent. We ordered the Seafood Scampi and the Spaghetti with Sausage, along with a side of meatballs, and everything was delicious and full of flavor. You can really tell care goes into each dish. To top it off, we enjoyed the Prosecco and the Italian Margarita both were refreshing and perfectly made.
Overall, amazing food, great drinks, and outstanding service. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place!

I was so excited to have a great Italian restaurant open again! The food was incredible! We got the mussels for an appetizer and we soaked up the wonderful sauce with bread and then our spoons, too incredible to waste!
The veal parmigiana was tender and delicious. My friend got the seafood scampi and the large pieces of shrimp, scallops and lobster was impressive! We will be back and will spread the word.

Dinner was wonderful! Kitt the bartender was lovely and attentive, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was excellent. It can be on the pricier end, but well worth it in my opinion. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you to everyone at Anjon’s for such an excellent experience!

My wife and I came up to Maine for a night getaway and decided to come here. The wait staff were all super attentive, kind and seemed like they wanted to make the best experience for us. The atmosphere was wonderfully intimate, perfect for a Valentine’s evening dinner. Our food was also pretty good, albeit a little overpriced. Unfortunately, there was a long wait between our appetizer and entree of a little shy of an hour, which we wondered why it was taking so long. The servers were nice and brought out some extra complimentary bread, so they seemed like they were doing the best that they can. I heard from earshot it was the second time that evening the kitchen got backed up.
Ultimately, it was worth it, and despite the long wait and slightly high prices, we might’ve come on an evening where the pieces weren’t all in line. I’d like to think that the kitchen service normally matches the excellent demeanor of the wait staff.

I first reviewed Anjon’s in 2016 and loved it then. We ate there often since we lived close. We were so happy to hear it opened again last year in Oct. We are now snowbirds and returned to the area for the summer. Anjon’s was my first pick for celebrating my birthday tonight. We made a reservation online, but it didn’t go thru apparently. They seated us anyway. If you want a reservation just call them. Online is thru a 3rd party and doesn’t always make it to them. Brittney was our server, nice as can be and very knowedgable about the the menu. The food was just as we remembered. The best italian I’ve ever had. Meatballs, sauce and stuffed bread are so good! We left full and leftovers for dinner tomorrow, plus a jar of sauce and a loaf of stuffed bread for home. Stuffed bread with sauce makes a great lunch! Thank you so much for finally opening up again. We will be back often!

Our server was delightful, but unfortunately the food was only OK and super expensive. For $36 we got a very overcooked and dry Chicken Parm. Another $37 got us a lasagne that was just OK. We probably won’t go back.

My only sadness is that when our leftovers were boxed up, we were not given everything on the plate. I had hoped for a couple of lunches on my leftovers – and it was so tasty.
