When we politely asked to move to a booth, the request was rudely refused, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Later, around 2:20 PM, we tried to place a take-out order and were bluntly told that the kitchen was closed—despite the same staff member continuing to take orders from other customers. Noticed that the restaurant kitchen closes after 2.30 PM.
Food was moderate.
We had driven all the way from out of state, and this inconsistent and discourteous treatment was extremely frustrating. Based on this experience, we will think twice before visiting again to this place.
The food was nothing short of exceptional—each dish was bursting with rich, authentic flavors and perfectly balanced spices. The food was especially outstanding, with tender textures and a depth of flavor that truly delicious. Every bite reflected the care they put in the kitchen, every thing tasted fresh.
Another point that is important to me is the an establishment is clean, and they did not disappoint, everything was spotless and the plates and utensils REALLY clean, which I really appreciate. There has been restaurants I like where I have to ask for a new set because they aren’t clean enough.
Beyond the incredible food, the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure we had a great experience. They offered excellent recommendations and made sure we felt welcome from start to finish. We even got complementary dessert!
Thank you Sumanth for being so nice and friendly! He make sure to explain dishes to us and letting us know they had a high level of spice.
If you’re looking for an authentic and delicious Indian meal with outstanding customer service, look no further! I can’t wait to return and try more dishes. Highly recommend
Special thanks to Sateesh, who was extremely courteous and sincere in his service. His attention and professionalism truly stood out. Overall, great food, great service — highly recommended!
Once we were finally seated, it took another 30 minutes for our food to arrive. While the quality of the meal was a highlight, the extreme wait times made the experience frustrating. You will likely lose your patience before you get your food. I hope they can improve their efficiency, as the service is currently very poor.
We ordered mutton thali for two and we were totally disappointed with the food. It had no meat and the portions were uneven for me and my brother. It had several items but was not worth the money we paid. They had dhal in thali which tasted like expired food. The veggies in mutton thali were also bland. The food was cold apart from the rice. Overall a complete disappointment. Additionally we ordered natu kozhi masala. The meat for my liking felt a bit old and was not cleaned properly as it had a raw meaty smell to it. I highly recommend the owner of this place to tweak the quality of the food.
I called exactly at 11:30 AM to place an order for 2 mutton biryanis. I clearly told Eswar that I was nearby and could pick up the food in 5 minutes, and he confidently assured me it would be ready.
When I arrived at 11:40 AM, he changed the story and said the biryani was “almost cooked” and just steaming, asking for 20 more minutes. I was still told to go ahead and pay, so I paid $100.
I explicitly informed him that I was about to leave for Sacramento (an 8-hour drive), that it was raining, and that traffic was expected. I asked him honestly if the timing he gave was accurate. He confidently confirmed yes.
I came back again at 12:10 PM. I stood there trying to get his attention, and when I finally did, he said the food was cooked and just being packed. I waited another 20+ minutes, during which he actively avoided eye contact and interaction.
Finally around 12:30pm another associate checked on the order and confirmed that the biryani wasn’t even fully cooked. At that point, it was clear I had been repeatedly lied to and completely misled. I was made to waste a lot of time despite being upfront about my situation, and was treated like a fool. I left extremely frustrated and disappointed.
I have worked as a waitress myself. I understand the pressure, the workload, and the time it takes to cook and pack food. Honesty costs nothing. If Eswar had simply been truthful from the beginning, this entire situation could have been avoided.
This level of dishonesty, poor communication, and disregard for a customer’s time is unacceptable especially after explicitly telling him everything.
