After leaving Colorado, my family talked about how we missed the smothered breakfast burritos often. Then we heard about Anita’s and decided to try. First of all, we are very grateful that this restaurant is near our home. The food was good and the portion size was good. The only thing thats missing that we miss is the spicy kick. The restaurant was clean and cozy with kindly staff and also convenient parking.

The food was okay I went for the lunch special It wasn’t anything over the top and it wasn’t exactly cheap I got the soup and the Friday special it was 20 bucks personally I think I make mine better at home. I had just come out of the hospital so I wanted something quick and easy and different. I like their breakfasts better I think.

How does one mess up chips and dip? They sent me nacho style chips and dip. I donno ifbthey don’t know what the word dip means. It’s an action, and a kind of thick sauce. Who orders chip and dip and wants it sent as nachos? Soggy chips. I had to order AGAIN pay for delivery AGAIN tip AGAIN. And hope that this order isn’t made by the same person.

Came here on a Wednesday evening and got seated right the way with plenty of tables available. The portion was generous and pretty decent. It was a good satisfying meal and does a great job filling us up.

It’s always fun to discover new restaurants when you travel. I usually let my apps guide me to new places, but I also rely on people who already live in the local area to guide me to the best options, and that is how I got to know Anita New Mexico- Style Mexican Restaurant in Herndon, Virginia.

I visited Anita’s for breakfast and I was more than satisfied with the many options on the menu. When you think of New Mexico style food, you immediately think of red and green chiles. And yes, many of the food items do, indeed, feature these additions. However, for breakfast, the focus is on breakfast burritos and American style breakfast entrees, so you don’t need to think about red or green chiles altering the flavor of a classic breakfast you know and love.

I selected the Three Egg Omelet when I visited, complete with hash browns and assorted meats. Chips and salsa were complementary and every person in my dining party ordered something different. We all enjoyed what we ordered and I liked that the portion size wasn’t gigantic. It was just enough to fill me up. I also appreciated the attentive service.

With parking, this Anita’s restaurant is located at the triangle- shaped intersection of main roads, so it could be an issue to get into the lot and find a space to park. But don’t let this obstacle get in your way. Anita’s New Mexico- Style Mexican Restaurant is a good choice for a satisfying meal, and it earns my recommendation.

The service was great. The food was good. However it was $20 per person to eat here. For the quality and amount it was not worth it. Also they had a frosted glass door on the bathroom that looked out to the dining rooms. They also have a drive-thru at this location. Out of all the Anita’s Restaurants, this was the best in food and service.

I have been a Anitas customer since the 1970’s. SADLY the PRICES have Exploded to beyond reason. And the Additional Fairfax County Food taxes don’t help. My favorite dish just recently went from a reasonable $14 to $25. Sorry Anita, you got Too Greedy for me. Bye Bye. It was nice while it lasted.

The food is always great and the employees are all super nice. I’ve always been seated very quickly, or if I’m ordering carry out, it’s always ready on time. I miss when they had a drive thru, but if you call in and place an order, it’s super quick.

Best breakfast burritos. Cheap and fast and delicious. Been eating here for 20 years. They have multiple locations. We were working here Saturday and my guys had not ever tried the burritos. They were not disappointed. Keep it up Anita’s…… and that red sauce is delicious
