I have been looking for Mexican Restaurants that make Gorditas. There’s not very many of them. Anita’s did not disappoint me with theirs. They were very delicious and tasty.

Loved the pastor street tacos! The wait staff were very friendly and helpful. I ate by myself today and I didn’t feel pressured to hurry or anything. Definitely recommend!!

There’s no way their reviews are legit. Their food was AWFUL. Like they dragged it through the parking lot before serving it! It was inedible. I called and the waitress started cussing me in Spanish, which I guess she thought I didn’t speak since I’m white, and then I called back and asked to speak to the owner, and she said the owner was right there but had nothing to say to me. I have the calls recorded. I had asked for a partial refund for the food we couldn’t eat and they flat out refused. Atrocious people and dirty food. Do NOT go here.

I almost never leave negative reviews yet this place earned it. We called in a simple order of take out breakfast tacos on corn tortillas. They took the order and informed us it would be ready in 15 minutes. We arrived 15 minutes later and gave our name and then waited. An additional 15 minutes went by and we asked about the order. We were then told they had to remake the order because they put them on flour tortillas. We said ok and waited another 20 minutes. These are breakfast tacos. They have 4 ingredients and take 5 minutes to make, yet we’re now like 40 minutes into this process. Finally a lady brings out our order and then chastised my lady because the kitchen got upset they had to remake the tacos correctly and scolded us for not being clear when we ordered. On the phone while ordering I very clearly told the gentleman who took the order that we wanted all corn tortillas. So instead of acknowledging the mistake and providing a quick fix they spent half an hour arguing internally and then blaming the customer.

After traveling all day, I really wanted to like this place, but it was only ok. My husband’s fajitas were not hot and the beans were salty. My tortilla soup was good but also very salty. Kid’s said their food was ok. Waited over 15 minutes for a margarita, granted I asked for some jalapeno in it, but didn’t think it would take that long to cut one up. After waiting that long, it wasn’t even that great, it tastes like salty jalapeno lemonade. Chips n salsa was good. I think our biggest mistake was coming in one hour before closing.

I enjoyed breakfast nopalitos and egg plate was delicious and so were the homemade corn tortillas. Patricia provided excellent customer service. I would definitely dine again.

I love eating almost every plate I get here. The carne guisada plate is my favorite. The home made tortillas come out warm and fluffy. Prices are fair. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend that every one go here for the best Mexican food in Bastrop!

Had the huevos rancheros breakfast and it was great. There homemade tortillas were delicious, just like my mom used to make. I highly recommend this place. My next review will be on there menudo, which I am having this morning 6-1-23

Overall we had a pleasant experience. Food was decent, it isn’t Michelin star worthy but it’s cheap and for cheap uts decent. There was a woman who spilled her entire cup of coffee on the bench behind our table and walked away like nothing had happened. Our birthday gifts were on the floor and her coffee ruined the wrapping and bags. I asked a lady who was cleaning tables if she could get a mop for me so I could clean it up because it had ran under our table and my elderly mom couldn’t stand up without risk of her falling. She looked at me, asked me to show her and when I did she rolled her eyes and walked away. Waited 15 minutes before I had to ask our waitress for the same mop. She came back and cleaned it up very quickly and apologized for that other patrons coffee ruining our stuff.

You have to seat yourself, which I’m never a fan of, because it takes a minute for you to actually be served. The service was polite, and the restaurant was clean.
