Holy tamale ! That was the best corn tortilla I ever had in my life. Who knew ?
We had been traveling all morning and got super hungry and this place already had great reviews so we thought we would give it a try. It’s not much from the outside or in, but the ladies working the line were so sweet, and the food looked so good from the little window. I was not expecting it to be THAT GOOD!!!
Those tortillas are made in house by hand and they are the softest, warmest, freshest, most clean corn tortillas I’ve ever tasted. The green chile puerco was outstanding, juicy, full of roasted Chiles , the breakfast tacos were fluffy, savory and filling.
They have glass bottle sodas, treats, and gentle tejano playing in the background. And ample space.
10/10 would recommend anyone who sees this to give it a try!

Tried this little place today. I enjoy a change from the normal tex mex. Had 4 tacos, 2 barbacoa and 2 were pork. Not sure how to pronounce what exactly what the pork was called. The pork I tried looked spicy but was not, could only taste a little bit of salt. The barbacoa tasted like it was supposed to, and from the taste was cooked traditionally. Glad to say, both sets of tacos were delicious. I was brought out some green sauce in a bottle, I believe it was tamatillo sauce and it packed a little bit of heat, great for putting on your rice and beans.
I’ll go back and you should try it at least once if you love real mexican food.

I had their pozole here and it was pretty good. This little piece of Mexico is run by two nice Mexican ladies so they’ll greet you, serve you, and collect payment so don’t expect constant customer service. The food is definitely authentic! I saw a specific demographic ordering burritos… I suggest trying coming out of your comfort zone and experiencing different Mexican dishes. I’m so going back!

I was in town for work and was told this was a must-try. I’m glad I tried it because it was great! You order infront of the hot case and pay after you eat. I tried all their taco meat and had no complaints with any of the them! The customer sevices was great (rare these days) and I always prefer can soda with my tacos for some reason and they offered that! If I ever get back to this area, I will make sure to eat here again.

While in the area and looking for places to eat, came across this place with high reviews and made a visit. It’s as home cooking as you could get, traditional cooking with traditional flavoring and it was well received. Like eating at moms/abuelas house. Portions are filling, service was attentive and place was clean. Would recommend to all.

So much of the food here is tex mex and processed. It was nice to stop by and have some traditional Mexican Food. ℹ appreciate all of Anitas hard work and know that she always tried her best and wears a smile
