Incredible and unique dishes – we shared several and everything was bursting with aroma, flavor and full deliciousness.

Favorite was the traditional fish, the vermicelli bowl was incredible (we got it with tofu) and the spring rolls are some of the best ones I’ve had. The savory sour soup is also fantastic, and I hope to come back to try the curry next time!!!

Everything was delicious. A little bit pricey but worth it in my opinion with how good everything was. We had the breakfast springs rolls, egg banh mi, lavong style fish and the beef stir fry.

The ambience is great and the service was also good. I ordered the pork lemongrass noodle bowl and it was quite tasty and flavorful. The Vietnamese iced coffee came fresh and was one of the best I’ve had! Only thing that made me raise my eyebrows was the $2 charge for a side of chili paste, a condiment that should be complimentary. Even if there is a charge, $2 for a side seems excessive! Otherwise, I enjoyed my dining experience there and would go again, sans chili order!

I love this gem so much! Quality food, great service and the bartender/owner, Long, is awesome! The spring rolls are always fresh. The pho is delicious and a big bowl. And I really love the spices used on their signature pork chop dinner!

This is a perfect place for a game!!
Stumbled upon this place, thinking it was closed. I never would have guessed walking in that I would experience some of the best food I’ve had in Denver in the past seven years.
The bar area has plenty of TVs and a wide selection of drinks.
The spring rolls are phenomenal. The edamame was fresh. The service was super quick. The other restaurants in the area and come here, seriously.

The food here is so flavorful! Had the vegan happy hour rolls (wish I had ordered more they were so good) and vegan pho. The family running Anise are kind and great with dietary restrictions.

Wow! What great place! Traveling vegan/gf couple and saw this place online. They were able to make the Pho Chay without hoisin to make it GF and had their Vegan Spring rolls with a black coffee to balance it all out. Amazing. Ate every morsel. Will be back and will definitely share with our friends in Denver!

This place was a hit! The rolls platter and Banh Mi were absolutely delicious. Not only was the food great, but the owners are very kind. It had that family meal kind of vibe. Very warm atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Been here countless times. From ownership, the chef, to our favorite server (June) – it’s clear they take pride in high quality, authentic food and flavors. I have virtually eaten through the menu, no let downs. I should have more photos at this point. Highlights are definitely the pho, but also all of the appetizers. An honorable mention to the Fried rice is necessary too. The service is great for such a modest and unfussy place. They pull well above their weight in the quality of food for the price point. Look forward to coming back again soon.

Visited Anise after getting our snowboards waxed next door to Evo, and overall it was an enjoyable visit! The setting was calm, relaxed, and the restaurant was about half full on a Wednesday night. It felt homey/family room, and the server was very nice, helpful, and attentive. One thing to note is that their Banh Mi is only served during lunch.

* Spicy Edamame: Nothing special about this dish, was essentially plain steamed edamame with their signature hot spice drizzled on it, but the sauce is so spicy that they can only use a little bit, which leaves the edamame a little dry and unseasoned (could use some more salt).

* Shrimp Spring Roll: Probably our favorite item, one of the best spring rolls we’ve had! Slightly warm, the shrimp tasted fresh, kinda creamy, not rubbery, with the right amount of veggies and rice. I would come back for these alone.

* Beef Pho: The broth was really good, light, not too salty, and they don’t use MSG. Overall tasted as expected. The dish was light, and overall on the smaller side with less noodles then we’ve had at other places.

* Chicken Stir Fry: Smoky, herby, warm flavor, very comforting. I recommend getting a little bit of their spicy house sauce and putting in on it, was perfect!

For the quality of the food and the service, the price was great! We left full under $80 with all the food, tax, and tip. I’d recommend stopping by and trying it out if you find yourself in the area.
