Anis Bistro is, without a doubt, one of the best, if not the best, restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food is absolutely out of this world. Every dish is prepared with such care and flavor that it’s hard to put into words.

We had the lamb shank and the duck—both were beyond excellent (I honestly wish there were a better word!). Each bite was perfection. And then came dessert: the pistachio apricot tart, which is truly to die for. Even the coffee, topped with extra foam, was unforgettable.

From start to finish, the experience was flawless. Anis Bistro has completely raised the bar for dining, I can’t wait to come back.

Went to Anis for dinner. The food was well seasoned, melt in your mouth, and not too oily. The portion sizes were reasonable and left us full. Dessert was some of the best sorbet I’ve had. Our waitress was very nice and took photos for us.

Well behaved staff, nice atmosphere, beautiful patio. We liked our experience. The noise level started to get unbearable once it got close to 7 pm, but all together a nice experience.

Overall a good experience celebrating a birthday. Great ambiance and nice environment.
The mussels were great. But our mains were both quite overcooked. The duck confit was very crispy but with a little bit of bitter burnt tastes.
Edit: We were initially charged for a birthday dessert, which we didn’t order. Didn’t want to make a scene and ruin the night, but I did left a review. Turned out it was supposed to be complementary but just an oversight on the check. The owner/manager actually called me to apologize and refunded the dessert (sorry I missed your calls!). It’s honestly not much money, but they made such a good gesture and I really appreciate it. The dessert sampler itself was very nice, rich chocolate and not overly sweet, with the sherbet nicely cutting through the richness.

We have been coming here for years, and it does not disappoint.

Anis is a hidden gem on a quieter street in Buckhead. The menu is always delicious, and the service is very good.

One item that I have always enjoyed is the duck confit. It was a staple on the menu for years, but then it began to disappear during covid. A waiter at the time created a secret list of its fans and notified us when it was available. It is now back on the menu.

The chocolate mousse is also very good. The chocolate flavor is Rich but not overly sweet and well-paired with fruit on top.

I arrived with five friends for a Friday dinner at 7 PM and quickly realized I had forgotten to make a reservation weeks in advance. Despite how busy it was, Amanda, the hostess, acted quickly and seated us right away. Our server, Jordan, took excellent care of us, and the food was, as always, delicious. I’ve been here a few times before and highly recommend the sea bass, trout, or ahi tuna salad — but ask to have it served on the salad bed used for the salmon.

Stopped in on Bastille Day! Lively, welcoming, charming atmosphere. Very engaging bartender who was knowledgeable about the nearly dozen white wines by the glass. Enjoy

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner tonight at Cafe Anis with service being exceptional. Appetizers of mussels, escargot, bread basket and carpaccio were all incredible. We had the vegetarian tortelonni, and braised lamb shank. Both entrees were a dream. 2021 Cotes Du Rhone bottle was delicious- we brought the remainder of bottle home to enjoy a night cap. Thank you for a fun night!

Ladies weekend in Atlanta and decided to try Anis Cafe for dinner on a Saturday evening. We love to share plates, so that is what we did! The food was OK. We ordered the Mussels, the Escargot, the Calamari, the Trout, tomato soup, sampled the fries, and Bread Basket. The trout was excellent, paired well with the spinach and artichoke. The Calamari was disappointing, and the mussels didn’t quite meet our expectations. We passed on the Wine Menu and ordered cocktails. The cocktails were also OK. I recommend to try this restaurant. There could be other dishes as excellent as the Trout.

Everything was amazing and exceeded my expectations! Loved the Escargot, salmon carpaccio, mussels, crème brûlée and chocolate mousse were our favorite. Our waiter was very quick with service. Dylan was awesome!
