We came to Anima for my brother’s wedding reception. We had a private room reserved for our party as part of a wine pairing event that was being held at the restaurant that night.

The menu was pre-fix to pair with the wines being presented, and unfortunately several of the guests in our party had dietary restrictions that conflicted with the set menu, at no fault of Anima of course.

We enjoyed the dinner, although the wines being announced over microphone made for a less-than intimate evening in the private dining room. The service was phenomenal, and we were well taken care of.

Our first course was Smoked Salmon Montadito which was nice paired with a prosecco, Next was Veal Tartare which I didn’t love. I tend to stay away from veal for moral reasons, and I don’t typically enjoy raw meats. The Beef Cheek Agnolotti was my favorite course and was delicious, followed by Roasted Lamb Shank which is also not a personal preference. For dessert, Cheesecake Espuma which was rich and delicious, though I wish they had a lighter option as dairy is one of my primary dietary restrictions.

The food, service, and wine were all very high quality and well paired. My brother and his wife enjoyed their dining experience thoroughly, which was the most important aspect of the night. However, I don’t do well with chef tasting menus that lean so heavily on meat, dairy, and alcohol, so it was hard for me to get the best experience possible from my visit to Anima.

Went for lunch on a Friday. Started with the Bravas Potatoes, Green Tartare, the Dealers Choice salad, and the wedge salad. All were fantastic. The salad dressings were seasoned well and the Bravas Potatoes came with a wonderful sauce.

For entrees we had the Anima Meatballs, Pichana and Frites, Malfaldine Carbonara, and Salmon La Plancha. Again, all came out hot and were seasoned very nicely. The salmon was slightly overcooked, but still delicious. The Carbonara was outstanding.

Had the chocolate fudge dessert and the Pistachio Tiramisu. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious, and the fudge was great too, but would choose the pistachio tiramisu over the fudge. It was memorable.

Our server Christian was fantastic. Personable, kind, engaging, and made sure we were well taken care of. We had an amazing experience, and my group is looking forward to returning to Anima to experience the dinner menu.

Walking up to this establishment it may seem closed due to the tinted glass exterior, but once you walk in you see the lively atmosphere inside. The food is great. I recommend reading reviews and listening to your server for food selections. We thoroughly enjoyed the Som’s wine picks, I got white wine for seafood and my wife got a red to pair with beef. Thoroughly enjoyed the overall quality of each plate brought to the table. Definitely want to go back and try different dishes.

We had a wonderful meal at Anima by EDO. A few of us had been to EDO in the past and were impressed by the food and service there, but Anima was even better in every way. Julio was our server and Paolo was our sommelier, and they both exemplified quality restaurant service. They were patient with explaining things and with answering our questions.

The food was fantastic. Julio was helpful with recommendations and making sure that we didn’t order too much. The highlights of our meal were: cacio e pepe croquettes, patatas bravas (this was the best potato dish I’ve ever had), Peruvian scallops, foie gras terrine, ricotta gnocchi, truffle cavatelli, and lobster crostini. The desserts were awesome as well, definitely order those.

Their wine list was insane as well, one of the best we’ve ever seen. It was especially great hearing Paolo give us a deep background of the wine, which got us ready to drink.

Thank you, Julio and Paolo, for the wonderful service and meal. I would make a trip to Vegas just to try this restaurant.

An amazing dinner. The food was delightfully inventive but flavor is king. I really enjoyed the scallops with coconut milk, the hamachi with foie gras starters and the deconstructed key lime pie. But the cavatelli with bone marrow….my goodness. The pasta is freshly made. Salty, fatty, and soul warningly delicious, it was simply divine.
I must mention the sommelier. He is a true gem! So for wine lovers, he has a lot of knowledge to impart and great wines to share. I would definitely come back!

We had an excellent dinner at Anima! The food was delicious, and the drinks and wine were superb as well. The sommelier is passionate and knowledgeable, and he helped us pick an incredible Tuscan wine. Highlights were the bread with tomato, Manchego and ham; the croquetas; the risotto; and the Dorade. We need to come back for desserts and another fantastic meal.

An exceptionally good meal. We had the vegetarian tasting menu and would highly recommend it. Every dish was unique and so tasty. We were so full by the time we got to the last course and dessert. All of the staff was so friendly. We are from out of state but hope to come back sooner rather than later! Thank you to our server Alex!

This was the best meal I’ve ever had. My husband and I ordered 7 dishes and 3 different drinks, everything was fantastic and the service was truly spectacular. I think most memorable dish was the scallops topped with tom kha and the braised short rib.

We were there back in mid-July on a birthday celebration trip. We greeted by Joe upon arrival and he customized the menu on the spot based on our budget and interests/preference. The drinks were very good. We each ordered different drinks and all turned out very yummy .

The food was AMAZING! All of us enjoyed it. The staff were all very friendly and professional in their respective domain of expertise. We had a wondering time. Anima was definitely the best meal we had on this trip and top restaurant in North America.

If you have the chance to visit and don’t know what to order, try the testing menu or ask Joe to create one for you. You should be pleasantly surprised.

The food is refined and creative, with a wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. It has quickly become one of my favorite Spanish-Italian fusion restaurants in Las Vegas. The followings are our feedback for each course we tasted:

Fresh tomato bread: The tomatoes this time didn’t have as much flavor as I expected. I think adding a touch of herb salt or flaky sea salt could have helped bring out their taste more distinctly.

Peruvian Scallops Crudo: Absolutely delightful. The use of Thai-style Tom Kha sauce and lemongrass not only complements the scallops without overshadowing them, but actually enhances their natural sweetness and freshness.

Smoked Hamachi:I initially thought it would be like most restaurants, where the smokiness is only noticeable in the aroma. But here, the applewood flavor truly permeates the fish and blooms beautifully as you take a bite. The foie gras and green apple add richness and layers of complexity, all while allowing the hamachi’s natural flavor to shine through. An outstanding dish.

30-Day Dry Aged Striploin Carpaccio:
Unlike the heavy and sometimes overwhelming versions I’ve had elsewhere, this is by far the most satisfying carpaccio I’ve tried. The delicate crispy shell wrapped with rich cheese, topped with the beef and a touch of vinaigrette, makes the whole dish feel refreshing and light. A very clever execution.

Eggplant Parmigiana
A very interesting dish — it felt like enjoying a lasagna made entirely with eggplant.

Pan Roasted Black Cod:
I enjoyed their use of the green tartar sauce — it made the whole dish feel lighter and more refreshing.

Pluma Ibérica:
The sweetness and acidity of the Campari tomato confit balance the richness of the Ibérico pork, while the garlic chips and crispy potato add great texture and layers.

The service was excellent. The staff frequently refilled our water and thoughtfully introduced each dish. I’ll definitely be coming back next time.
