This bread is Next. Level. We had their sour dough and all I can say is how apparent the difference in taste is when thoughtfully sourced fresh ingredients that haven’t gone through the nutrient-sapping preservation process are used. I don’t think I’ve ever had bread with such vitality and depth in flavor. This one’s a winner.

I went to the Honest Weight Food Co-Op yesterday hoping to purchase some healthy yet great tasting bread. There was a new addition to the regular choices and I decided to give it a try. I purchased a loaf of Anicca sourdough batard and I am so pleased I made this choice! It has just a few ingredients as any healthy bread should, but to kick it up a notch, it’s made with organic stone ground wheat flour! Organic is a deal breaker for me! I made French toast with the bread this morning and I am sincere when I say it was the best French toast I have ever had! The bread is nice and moist, not dry like many whole wheat breads, and held so up well to soaking in eggs and cream. My husband and I give it a big thumbs up and I will be purchasing again for sure! When I am visiting family in Georgia I buy this same type of delicious bread at a farmers market, and we pay $15 a loaf. Anicca’s bread is even better than the one I purchase in Georgia and it’s less than $7 a loaf!
