Anh Ba offers delicious Vietnamese right in the heart of Malvern. Loads of traditional options for eating in and take away. The spring rolls were crispy and oozing with fresh ingredients. Vietnamese coffee was perfectly sweetened, and is available as a dicounted add on to meal items. Clean dining area inside and streetfront with friendly table service. Easy parking in Coles .

Crispy Pork banhi mi is worth it, very value for money at $13. Actual crackling pork belly, generous serving of meat, didn’t get as much chilli as I asked for sadly. Excellent service from staff.

Came here for a quick lunch with my partner, and we decided to try the two best-recommended dishes. The fried rice with stir-fried beef was easily the best of the two, while the grilled pork with vermicelli noodles was a little underwhelming. The pork looked a bit plain (too pale compared to the picture), though the portion size was very generous. Flavour wise the noodle could use some improvement, but the fried rice was definitely the highlight of our lunch. I’d highly recommend ordering it!

Outstanding Crrrrispy Pork Bahn Mi from AnhBa in Glenferrie Rd.
As a local, who has tried many Bahn Mi, both near and far, this one ticked A LOT of boxes.
Bread roll was perfect balance of soft on inside with crunchiness on outside. But not too crunchy!
A generously filled serve, with first bite having my required audible crunch, that continued consistently as I contently consumed. Pickled carrot was an equal highlight to the apportionment of coriander that meandered through my culinary experience.
Did I mention the Chilli??? Thankfully I had my accompanying Vietnamese Iced Coffee to complement the chilli hit. Perfect, (With Blitz Bar across the road for the ‘acai’ of relief!)
Do yourself a favour, this place could easily become my (and yours) regular outlet. Excellent value at $13.

The roast pork banh mi was absolutely delicious — the pork was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and perfectly balanced with the pickled carrots and fresh herbs. Every bite was full of flavor! The iced Vietnamese coffee was fantastic too — rich, smooth, and perfectly sweet. A great combo that totally hit the spot!

Best banh mi I’ve had in Melbourne. I tried the grilled pork patty (Nem Nuong) and it’s so flavourful. It’s the local Vietnamese flavour that I’ve been craving for. The team is also super friendly and provides quick service. Will be back to to try out other dishes

My Husband and I ordered chicken banh mi and stir fried beef fried rice. Both food taste amazing. The chicken banh mi had alot of chicken and is juicy but the friend rice had a small serving of beef.
Update: we went back again because the food was delicious and the quantity of meat was very good. Very good place for a nice and good value meal! The iced coffee also tasted very authentic.

I had the crispy pork banh mi and it was so good! Super flavourful, the pork was juicy and crispy, and they were really generous with the filling. The staff were also really friendly. Will definitely be back 🙂
