Aria was amazing, she took great care of us. We tried to limit ourselves on the cheese and crackers to save room for the meat but they were still good! We had some shrimp cocktail; the cocktail sauce was delicious. I had the Tuscan ribeye, topped with mushrooms, and my wife had the bacon wrapped Filet. Both steaks were cooked to perfection. We have always heard about the amazing chess pie so we had to give that a chance as well, and as expected, also phenomenal.
We cannot speak highly enough of this place! The atmosphere and outside was still all decorated for Christmas and the overall experience was nothing short of perfect.
Great place for special occasions!
No where has better holiday decorations and awesome Gun collection on display! The upstairs tavern/bar is fun, but make sure to ask for the Wine Celler and Meat Locker Tour!!! Breathtaking
The restaurant felt magical with beautiful Christmas decorations everywhere, making the whole visit feel special and cozy. From arrival to departure, the service was warm and welcoming, and the whole experience left you excited to go back. The beautiful ladies holding the doors were adorable, complimenting as people came thru! They made my night!
My filet was cooked to perfection, exactly how I ordered it, which is a big deal at a place known for its in-house aged Angus beef and steak-focused menu. The broccoli cheddar soup was amazing, rich, and comforting, adding to that cozy holiday feeling.
The server took great care of us throughout the meal, that kind of attentive service fits with their reputation for making every guest feel important.
On the way out, chatting with Megan B was a highlight; her amazing personality really stood out and made the end of our evening especially memorable! THANKS MEGAN B!!!! YOU MADE MY NIGHT!!!!
The building and dining rooms were decorated beautifully for Christmas, with lights, ornaments, and themed rooms that made the whole place feel like a holiday destination, not just a restaurant.
Angus Barn is known locally as a go-to spot during the holidays, and your experience fits right in with that tradition of over-the-top, unforgettable Christmas ambiance.
Overall, the place was great in every way: food, service, and atmosphere all came together for a fantastic night out.
I cannot wait to return!!
Paige took care of our table and she was fantastic. Our 106-year-old friend asked me to leave a review for how great she was!
From the cheese and crackers to the crudités platter to the juicy shrimp cocktail to the scrumptious filet mignon to dessert, the food was delicious!
Jake was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. His sense of humor helped us relax and enjoy our meal and family time!
The decorations were exceptional!
It is a little pricey, but well worth it!
They describe the atmosphere as “rustic elegance,” and that’s exactly what it feels like. Warm, timeless, and intentional. It’s refined without feeling stiff — the kind of place where you immediately know you’re somewhere special.
I ordered the filet mignon with a lobster tail and a massive baked potato, and every bite felt like a celebration in itself. Perfectly prepared, flavorful, and served with care. It’s clear they take pride not just in the food, but in the experience.
One of the highlights of the evening was the kitchen tour they graciously provided. Nearly everyone we encountered seemed genuinely delighted that we were interested in seeing where the magic happens. There was no sense of obligation — just pride, warmth, and hospitality. It’s rare to feel that level of authenticity from an entire team.
What really made the night unforgettable, though, was the birthday touch. They brought out a large round pound cake drizzled with a delicious raspberry glaze and topped it with three candles. When they presented it, they said, “One for the past, one for the present, and one for the future.” It was simple, thoughtful, and surprisingly meaningful — a small moment that made a big impression.
Even when they set my to-go bag aside, they had written my name on it with a small smiley face. Such a tiny detail, but it felt incredibly genuine — like every interaction, no matter how small, mattered.
There’s a reason Angus Barn has the reputation it does. Some restaurants serve dinner. This place creates memories.
I’ll remember this birthday for a long time.
