First timer. Service was good, considering only on attendant. Polite & attentive. Food was great for fast food. Chose the “hot” heat level, which seemed middle of the road heat level. It’s was hotter than I anticipated, but still great. Meat was very tender & juicy. Excellent with honey added. Good helping of fries. Suggest a step or 2 down if your spice sensitive. Don’t believe I’d order a higher spice level. Hot was good, but my personal max. I’ll be back.

The food tastes good, but the portion sizes have become really disappointing. For the price, the quantity just isn’t worth it anymore. The tenders feel smaller and the fries are inconsistent, and sometimes the box looks half empty. I don’t mind paying more for quality, but there should be consistency and better value. Other hot chicken spots in the area offer more for the same price, so it’s hard to keep coming back.

First day that this restaurant opened up. I wasn’t there for the start of it, I came a bit later in the afternoon. I love the decor that they have. I was nicely greet by the person taken my order. I know the day has been super busy for them since it was super packed. The food didn’t take long to make. And it was very delicious . I got the bowl with rice, Macaroni, coleslaw and 2 chicken tender. The place was really clean. The busters where on top of their job and cleaning the table after people were done. I will definitely come back here again.

First time I came here it was pretty good came in end of September and got a bowl of day old fries old fried chicken. Mac n cheese was ok. Won’t be back. They are either trying real hard to save 50c on fresh fries or the employees just really dont care about good food. Can’t believe they ask for a tip here and I was stupid enough to do so. Oh 2 people 2 bowl 2 drinks was nearly 50 dollars. I wont be back. Another added note for management. Does anybody ever clean the bathrooms. Cuz there was us and two other people in there and the bathrooms are disgusting

As the name suggests, the menu at Angry Chickz is focused on Nashville chicken so there’s a lot of flavor and spice to each meal (you can choose your level of spice), and they certainly do not disappoint. I ordered a lot! The classic fried chicken sandwich with a side of their signature Angry Fries (easily my FAVORITE FRIES EVER), and I have to say, it was some of the most flavorful chicken I have ever had. Had the angry mac, which was mac and cheese, fries and their juicy chicken all in a bowl. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the bun was soft and fresh. The Angry Fries were also exceptional, with just the right amount of spice and had so much character on their own.
The service was also noteworthy – the staff was friendly, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Really professional and well run spot on their first day opening handling a massive crowd!
Overall, Angry Chickz is a fantastic restaurant with amazing food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. A great addition to the Concord/Clayton area. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new delicious chicken spot.

Management is a huge issue here. Especially this “Christian”. manager who is also a cook? We used to be regulars here, but every visit has become worse than the last. The portions keep shrinking, the food quality is inconsistent, and now I know it’s because the management is not only flat out rude but also cheap and lazy. On our last visit, we were served what looked like maybe a dozen fries and when we ordered a second order of just fries, it came with even less fries than the first. When we brought it up politely, even the cash register apologized and agreed it was a lot less and asked the cook/ manager Christian to correct it. Instead he became hostile and arrogant that he put the correct amount and 12 fries is the right amount. And very unnecessarily rudely told us to “pay more”. Like I said we were REGULARS here. The employees know us and have always been very polite and respectful. But this manager explains why things have gone downhill here, clearly this manager isn’t here to fix mistakes, he’s just here to cause them.
Not only is this Christian guy cutting corners on portions, but even the seasoning is watered down compared to before. Don’t know why the owners of Angry Chickz would hire a manager with so much arrogance, cheapness, and laziness. The management here has ruined a place me and my family used to enjoy and eat at almost every day. Oh well there are plenty of other places around to eat at, I won’t return, and if you value your money or your time, you should steer clear too.

Crazy how expensive it’s gotten. Not just here but everywhere. $5 for an additional tender that is mainly breaded coating is cray cray. Angry Chickz will always be good, no hate to them. They take their time, it’s always fresh (especially if you order dine in), the employees are all so very sweet every time I’ve went and it fills you up!

Spice levels are totally inconsistent – the same order will sometimes be super spicy and sometimes have no spiciness at all.
