The Balaban Kebab is an absolute standout and a must-order. It’s a rare Turkish classic: juicy grilled meatballs over toasted bread, finished with rich tomato sauce, melted butter, and creamy yogurt. Unforgettable.
The grilled meats are tender, the seafood is fresh, and everything coming off the grill is full of flavor. Even the vegetarian dishes are so good that meat-lovers will happily order them.
The salads are fresh, the dips are spot on—creamy hummus, smoky baba ganoush, and perfectly crisp falafel—and the homemade bread alone is worth the visit. Don’t skip dessert either; everything is made in-house and you can taste the care in every bite.

Angora is a hidden gem in Teaneck. The atmosphere and the service was very warm and welcoming making it a great spot for date night or evening with friends and family. My wife and I walked in and were accommodated without a reservation. However, I would recommend setting up a reservation in advance to secure your table.

I love Mediterranean food, and Angora Mediterranean Restaurant absolutely delivered. The ambience was warm and inviting, and everything we ordered tasted fresh and well prepared. Really good mediterranean spot! We had some appetizers and a main dish and everything was so good. For dessert we got san sebastian cheesecake and it was amazing (you can tell from the video ) Kayla was super nice. We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back!
