This Italian restaurant has a very cozy and welcoming vibe, making it a nice place to sit down and enjoy a relaxed meal. The service was great — friendly, attentive, and made us feel well taken care of throughout our visit.
The portion sizes are generous and offer good value for the price. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, the serving sizes help balance that out. That said, the food itself could be improved a bit in terms of flavor. It was good overall, but with slightly more depth and seasoning, it could really stand out.

A wonderful dining experience for a Saturday night out in DC. As authentic as anywhere outside of Italy. Our server was pleasant and attentive- not in-your-face every five minutes, but at the table often enough that we never needed to ask for anything.
The food was amazing. I had the lasagna, wife had a white pizza and our daughter had some type of pasta with seafood. All were delicious!
The atmosphere was fine but this is not a quaint, romantic spot. It was kind of loud in the small indoor dining room, with two TVs tuned to sports channels. We had an early dinner and it wasn’t crowded but I could see it filling up around 7pm or so. If the weather is nice the outdoor seating area would be great.
Overall it was a nice evening out with the family.

Some of the best small town Italian I’ve had in my life. We came back a second time just to try more of the menu. Consistent, fresh quality food. I highly recommend

Angolo Restaurant – Georgetown, DC
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I recently visited Angolo Restaurant in Georgetown for the first time, and it was an unforgettable experience! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening out.
I started with the Pizza Napolitana, and it was absolutely divine. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of char. The fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil created a harmonious blend of flavors that transported me straight to Naples.
Next, I tried the Eggplant with Spinach, and it was equally impressive. The eggplant was tender and flavorful, complemented beautifully by the fresh spinach. The dish was seasoned to perfection, making every bite a delight. Highly recommended!

The service at this place is appaling and this is being generous. The server was so terrible when we visited from New York on Saturday 3/29, it was shocking! The kids had to eat, so no choice. The only way he was going to get a tip was to include in the receipt, which, he did. When we arrived, they were not busy but they took their time to sit us, busy talking to each other. While we waited, he just threw the bread nonchalantly on the table, with no care whatsoever. Suffice to say that we will never return when we visit DC again. Will not recommend. Very ok food. Very ordinary. Fake Halal.

I’ve guess they changed because I saw multiple people post about the service but all the staff was so friendly and attentive. We had a great experience there. The food was so rich and flavorful. It’s also so nice to have some halal Italian in the area. There are very little and this place definitely hits the spot. They have a large drink options for all my wine and liquor people so there’s definitely something for everyone. If you’re in the Georgetown area definitely check this out.

BEST Italian food spot! My boyfriend & I travel, & we have yet to discover a spot better than this place. The food is def authentic & I believe it’s a family owned business (I could be wrong) but I would 100% recommend to anyone. The pasta is light & filled with flavor!

I LOVED THIS RESTAURANT! We went there on Halloween night, and oh my goodness, SO YUMMY. Our appetizer was so delicious I almost ordered another, but everyone told me to save room for the main courses. The service was amazing, they kept refilling our water, and our waiter was super kind and attentive.
I ordered the fettuccine with chicken, and they were so accommodating with any changes I wanted like even adding mushrooms! My boyfriend got the gnocchi vodka; for the price, the portion wasn’t huge, but wow, the flavour. Everything was genuinely delicious, and they also had a great variety of desserts (we were way too full to try them this time).
A true Italian taste in Georgetown!!
