The wooden décor at Angler’s Restaurant and Bar provides a rustic oasis surrounded by lush vegetation. Surprisingly, one would not be aware of the hustle and bustle along the main road as one settles into the deep rum barrel chairs while indulging in the chef’s pick of the day. Allow your mind to slow down as you relax and sip on ice-cold Appleton cocktails while listening to the rhythmic thud of almond pods falling from the surrounding broadleaf trees.

The food was excellent. The decor is great. There’s a photo spot to the side with two swings. Conch soup was really good. Wish there was extra conch though. We couldn’t get enough of the conch fritters. The food was well seasoned and the salt was well controlled for the diners that have to mind their BP. The pepper shrimp is addictive but it’s true scotchie so if yuh fraid a peppa ask them to leave off the sauce and ocra.

The curry conch was awesome, festival, rice and peas and bammy, my wife had a steam fish, not the best but it was okay. And our waiter Poochie was fabulous, friendly, always checking on us to see what more can be done. Overall hospitality was great.

Having somewhat bad experienced with some restaurants and their food plus horrible service i wanted to give anglers a try and was so happy i did. My bestie and I love to take our family out at least once per month to dine and enjoy. I was very pleased to try anglers. I was skeptical because their menu showed alot of seafood and I was worried my 5 year old wouldn’t have much option to choose because he is very picky. I was surprised when I got there they were pasta. Chicken wings and other options which were not on the menu. The creamy chicken pasta was the best I had in a long while while dinning. Chicken wings and jerk chicken were a tad bit salty for me , but delicious for the children. Dj played nice songs to liven the atmosphere. Drinks were good and the waitress was wonderful. Overall I love the place and wish they update their menu in the restaurant and online to show more dishes they offer . I was hesitant because I saw the menu options online, and they weren’t much to serve children, but was very pleased once I arrived and i was told of the other options they have. Happy I found this place and will definitely come back to try other dishes. It’s one of our families favorite so far.

We arrived late evening and was greeted by a very friendly and accommodating waitress. Service with a smile in Jamaica!!! Food was very much on point. My seafood combo was missing the lobster but the conch and prawns more than made up for it. The fried nanny and festival were perfect. I could see small events happening here, I need to remember I’m on vacation. The owner came out and introduced herself and was very welcoming.

Food was great but took over 40 min to come out. Awesome customer service. We tried to go again the next day but noticed at least 8 tables and not one with a plate of food, it seemed like everyone was waiting so we knew it would be an even longer wait than the day before so we opted out. Great vibes over all though if your not starving. They even have a pool table for $100jmd a round.

Food taste AMAZING!!! Had escovitch fish and festival with ginger beer. The fish was topped with spicy carrots, onions, and pepper. The festival was crispy. We sat at a table for 15 people and had great service.
