My Uber Eats order arrived quickly. The steak and egg croissant was flavorful, though a little greasy, so I’ll ask for no butter next time. The grits had potential but needed to be thicker. I’ll definitely order again, but I’d prefer to stop by in person to share my feedback about the grits.

This is a small unclean appearing little “store front” place. Barely standing room. No where to sit. The chitterlings I went to purchase were cleaned EXTREMELY well, however, ABSOLUTELY NO seasoning. It was as though they just boiled them in PLAIN WATER. ABSOLUTELY no kind of seasoning. No salt, pepper, onion….NOTHING! They tasted like Chitterlings with a smell cooked in water. I would not purchase them again.

I was downtown to get my nails done and my nail tech was running late and I was starving. Angies was close so I thought why not try it. The place is old and it looks like it but the food was FRESH, HOT and TASTY. I had pancakes, beef sausage, and eggs. The proportion was great and I was full until well into the afternoon. I would definitely go back again if I was in the area.

Chitterlings are not for everyone, but those of us who love them should consider Angie’s Soul Food. The absolute best I’ve ever had! Very clean! And the potato salad is delicious too! They give Granny some mean competition! I would not go anywhere else! ❤️

Ordered from here today and had it delivered. I ordered a cheese omelet with a side of sausage and white toast. When I got it the sausage was missing altogether, the omelet had peppers and onions and the toast had jam on it. They made errors on almost everything. I couldn’t eat the omelet. Who is doing order quality control there?

Catching up on reviews. My family’s been getting chitterlings from here for decades when they were in Lexington Market. Was there on Saturday, 10-01-22. Was going to get a pint but ended up getting a dinner with two sides.
Not sure if the guy who waited on me was an owner or not. He was very nice. We talked about me driving thru the remnants of the hurricane the night before and he mentioned he knew people who were in the storm. He hooked my plate up. Looking forward to being there again the next time I’m in Bmore. Yams were a little stringy.
