Run don’t walk. This spot is it. Never cared for waffle house but I bet you this is what the waffle house thought they tasted like..brown eyed cook did my eggs soft with cheese even tho he said they only cook one way..the food was more than bountiful. I got the angie special..red velvet waffle, eggs, grits and turkey bacon, turkey sausage for 18 bucks!!! Waffle thick n fluffy and tasty..eggs on point..turkey sausage and bacon good too. Waffle house could never..Dennys could never..it stayed hot even after a 15 minute drive home. Get your food to go because no seating..didn’t try their fresh juice or fried wings but I was told it was delish. I plated portion of the food with my sugar free syrup and made a whipped protein coffee with kaluha and vanilla chai..big back activity activate..LOL..
The food was really good and will definitely be back!

I come to this place time from time to grab breakfast sandwiches as they are solid. Today reminded me of the reason why I don’t come here often as the customer service is in the lackluster . I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and four chicken wings upon completion of my order and paying the young man he let me know that they don’t have any bacon. Every time I come here this something whether there’s no napkins, not having proper change, employees seem like they don’t want to be there. No sauces etc there always something. I often choose to overlook this because I would like to continue to patronize small black owned businesses. With my frustration, I just asked for a refund, while they had the wings I did not have time to wait wait for the manager to go to Walmart to purchase bacon to cook and then assemble my sandwich. When I insisted on just getting a refund the manager, let me know that he does not know how to process a refund. I paid in cash and he wanted me to find a replacement at that point. I was so over the whole experience. I just wanted my money and wanted to leave. Instead of just processing the refund, he insisted on going back-and-forth with me and I let him know that every time I come here there is something wrong. While I kept calm and asked politely for a refund, he continued to say that he does not know how to do that and he can give me something else. After growing more irritated with the lack of consideration to my request, I decided to just leave I would just chuck it up as a loss, I do not want anyone to handle my food after a dispute or lack of professionalism. When I decided to walk out the door, the young man that originally assisted me called me back to say hey he can process the refund and that someone that was in the back said it was OK. Why did I have to go through this back-and-forth when you guys didn’t have part of what what I wanted readily available ? Why is it acceptable that manager doesn’t know how to process a refund ? I will not be returning here and if you value halfway decent customer service don’t make this your first choice.

Horrible experience. Had a DoorDash order…can’t really blame them at all-prompt delivery and great driver. The order was missing grits, a cinnamon roll, eggs, 2 bottles of water and a biscuit. I called the store and was told by an employee that they would “remember my name”. They then suggested that I come into the restaurant to pick it up-ummmmm no-I OBVIOUSLY ordered DoorDash since I was incapable of going to pick it up. I was then placed on a 20+ minute hold for a manager by the employee’s doing-not my request that NEVER came to the phone at all, all while continuing to take orders and never once tended to my call.

Greeted when I walked in. They were busy.
I got the steak and biscuit with gravy. It was okay. I wouldn’t get it again. I didn’t like the texture of the steak however it was freshly cooked. The biscuit was fluffy and gravy lacked flavor.
I had a chicken wing it was hot and good.
I would try again but something different.

Searched for “soulfood, salmon croquettes” Angie’s and 3 other restaurants.. N to begin let’s just say I should hv choose another… First of all Parking is a nitemare…. Salmon Croquettes truly taste & smelled like Tuna …. Another error, I originally ordered cheese grits but changed to hash browns … Soulfood restaurant, with McDonald’s hashbrowns…. WOW!!! Even FirstWatch has homemade… Lastly, eggs with cheese Means cooked in the eggs NOT sprinkled ok n top after Now, I hv already chastised myself as an Islander by Not making my own at home
Lesson learned, ask in details or get recommended from a friend….

We normally eat from this place one a week. We never will again. They left off half the order, and manager refused to fix the situation. The food was delivered to the job, and we were trying to feed a child. The worker did not pack the child’s food. The manager refused to have it delivered or bring it himself. He actually told me I can pick it up tomorrow or Monday. How can I feed a hungry child tomorrow or Monday if he won’t be here.
Then, when I got to my food, the grits were hard, and the eggs were sitting in liquid. Today was my last day patronizing this restaurant.

Ordered an Angie special this morning got a biscuit instead of my chocolate chip waffle that’s an expensive biscuit called to ask what happened no one answered the phone this was my first order from here!! Went back talk to Malachi and he straightened out my order got my chocolate chip waffle yummy!

I’m about two seconds away from calling bbb on them. This is not the first or second time that I placed an order for pickup and went inside waited and waited and waited (for a good 30 mins) only for the employee to tell me oh we didn’t receive your order (or see your order) and then proceed to make me wait another 30 mins and all for what? A couple of sausages??? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. Happened once I let it go. But again?? And AGAIN?????? No. Stop taking online orders then. Get a better system. Hire better people. Do better.

The place was so filthy I couldn’t place an order. When you walk in it looks like the whole place needs a bath and the cashier and cooks looked just as filthy. Tongue rings, hoods on it was just dirty everything the windows, floors, walls, the front counter everything is just dirty the place needs an entire bath. I can’t believe people walk in there and see the filth from the building to the people and still order more less doordash or Uber. I can’t believe the health department haven’t shut it down. I’m sure if this was in a more sophisticated area, it would be completely shut down. The owner should be ashamed
