Angie’s Hideaway is Heber Springs answer to home cooking out!
And, Hideaway is an apt description as it’s a sneaky turn off the main drag and you approach the front of the building from the back.
You’ll be greeted and seated quickly in your choice of a table or booth.
There’s a variety of menu items, usual fried apps, but lots of them.
Tonight we had the grilled pork chop, loaded baked potato and Cole slaw.
The pork was tender and flavorful.
The Cole slaw was sweet and cool.
The potatoes were loaded. Cheese, bacon pieces, chives, butter and sour cream.
The blackened rainbow trout was on point. A boneless, skin-on filet, cooked perfectly and fills that trout void if you struck out on the Little Red River.
Corn nuggets are a side option as well!
Tea or soft drinks served in a big jar!
Friendly service. Will return.

We had a pleasant experience dining for lunch at Angie’s hideaway.
We came with our dogs after hiking and were able to get a seat outside. Food was good and service was excellent with a friendly server. They even brought water in a bowl for our dogs.
Plenty of parking outside. The place did start to get pretty busy for lunch during the weekend.

Despite being a busy place on a sunday afternoon after everyone got out from church, they still did their best to accommodate everyone, did not mess up any orders, didn’t tale too long, and were extra sweet to our kids we got 3 types of their burgers, a garden salad, crinkle cut fries, Mac and cheese and catfish for the kids, and also the fried mushrooms appetizer for our party of 5. It was amazing. Everything was delicious. And we had lots of leftovers to take home. Charming little place off the beaten path filled with good food and great customer service! We will definitely be coming back here again soon.

Nice restaurant, good food, decent service. Kids really enjoyed the grilled cheese and fries and the bang bang shrimp was great! My chicken was a little dry but overall a decent meal at a good price!

Amount of food equal to the price in my opinion. Waitress was amazing, very helpful and respectful and very pretty…. Atmosphere was great, kinda secluded but not really….. Just good ole folks doing there best to make it… I’ll go back again and try something else off the menu !

The food was great and the menu prices were reasonable. They offer so many different food options so everyone should be able to find something on the menu they like. The service was great and our waitress took good care of us. We had a party of 4 and had no wait to be seated and very little wait on our food.

My nephew was here visiting from Iowa. I took him up to Heber Springs, to show him the area. We stopped to have a late lunch early supper and our food was delicious and our service was awesome! Tony was our server. I will definitely be back in the future. Every time I’m in the area.

Definitely need GPS to find this place…that makes it a hideaway. They got you when your walk in…the dessert case is right by the door in front of the hostess stand. And they give you time to choose yours before seating you lol (I wanted one of each)
