Angie’s is a delightful little corner spot in Passaic that you should absolutely check out. The food is delicious, the prices are very fair, and the people are incredibly nice—what more could you ask for in a neighborhood gem?
I always go for the tacos and tamales, and they never disappoint. The tacos are priced just right and are consistently good; I have zero complaints about the value or the taste. The tamales are equally fantastic. On my last visit, I had requested two of the same, but ended up with one of each, and honestly, that was totally okay because they are both good!
There might be a slight language barrier during ordering, but the staff is so kind that we always make it work without issue, and it doesn’t detract from the experience at all. This spot offers authentic, good food at a great price. If you’re in the area and looking for something tasty that won’t break the bank, definitely give Angie’s a try!

One of the better Mexican Restaurants in this area. Food quality is really good, especially for the price. I really loved their Chilaquiles, but the Tamales were just average. Will definitely order again from here again. Adding to my Delivery list

Amazing food, great prices, The only issue was I waited 1hr and 15 minutes for 4 chicken tacos and 4 mixed tacos. No one communicated with me, I saw people sit, eat and leave while others picked up food. I had to address the girl which then and only then she brought out my food and then apologized stating there were so many Uber Eats, and deliveries. Still no excuse to forget your customers in front of you, especially waiting patiently for more then an hour.

As a person who loves tamales but likes to feel les condiments and more natural taste, I loved it :). Good attention, willing to solve my concerns, and have a varied selection of tamales for an early morning(early for a sunday) person 🙂

My husband has ordered the Angie Special Torta from here for years for lunch today we went there first time dining in and my first experience I don’t know where to start the food took almost 45 minutes and we were the only people there the details from the waitress about the food were wrong the fans were dirty and were obviously not on it was hot there was no attention paid I came home with a stomach ache and only ate a few bites of my Birria burrito after telling the waitress she didn’t say anything but here’s your bill it felt very unwelcoming I will never go back just a warning to others smh
