Overall pretty decent , I had the stewed chicken by it marinating in the oil I think it probably lost flavor. That being said could have been more flavorful / I bet the grilled chicken is probably great. Price was fair & for the portion it’s great huge plate for $15. All in all pretty good place want to try their other food.

The host/worker/owner was very thoughtful and sweet. She let me bring my individuals in the restaurant to sit down and eat. We were visiting from out of town. They brought their own lunches with them and the lady said that was ok. (I asked first) I wanna say thank you so much for letting them get the experience of eating at your restaurant! We will be returning

I wish we had an Angel’s in Queens because this was SO GOOD. The portions were super generous, seasoned perfectly, and the meats we chose (pollo guisado and beef stew) were very tender. The size medium plate is honestly enough to feed two people, and the small plate could even feed two people! But I guarantee you won’t want to share because it’s that good. Everything tasted fresh and hot, as if you just arrived at mom’s house for dinner. 1000/10, would travel two hours from home just to eat this again.

Food is authentic and delicious Dominican food .
Some nice representative art and decor items. Reasonable prices. Not a high end interior but a very pleasant ambience and casual atmosphere. Lots of space in between tables, wheelchair friendly. Very friendly staff. Buffet style menu and easy to takeout.

After driving by several times and never stopping, my wife and I decided to give it a try. We can’t wait to go back!
We tried the crispy chicharrones, arroz con gandules, plátanos maduros fritos and a pastel.
Coming from a Cuban family, and having left Miami (after 64 years), we were missing the latin food flavor.
We found it at Angel’s!
If you have ever tried latin food or if you never have, you must go to Angel’s. BTW, the prices were very reasonable and the food quality and quantity were superb.

I have been going since they opened this restaurant. Like everything else price went up and quality went down. The food is salty, very very salty, enough to give me a headache. Not sure if the cook changed or just the quality of seasoning. It was hit or miss before, salty or really salty, but still salty. If they cut down on the salt it would be amazing food.

We got a little bit of everything last night off their menu and not one complaint. Everything we got was excellent and beat my expectations. I will be a repeat customer as I absolutely love the food. Family style environment the place is extremely clean great selection of food and the willingness to make a customer happy. There was a chef for many years we could tell you from first hand that food is authentic and out of this world couldn’t have made it better myself.

Food was average at best. Was expecting great things and was disappointed. Over cooked Ox tail had minimal flavor if any. Worth the $$$. Not so much. Desserts looked great….. tasted very commercially made and portion was pitiful for price. I’m not sure what the Oreo looking “cake” was supposed to be but it had a floral taste and the texture was that of a badly made cheesecake and old brownie bottom. Being well traveled and having eaten at many Latin establishments, this place is very “American” The counter girls should be taken at face value, as they were making sideways comments, not knowing that I speak the language. Should’ve known by the empty parking lot at normal dinner time rush that this was a poor choice for a meal.
