Angel is very knowledgeable about the East Los Angeles Taco scene. He will personalize the tour by asking what type of tacos you want to eat for the night. If you don’t know he is a super solid source for good Taco STands and brick and mortar restaurants. He also has a nice safe spot for you to park your car while on the taco crawl. His car is super comfortable and spacious. My big surprise and delight was the Al Vapor Tacos food truck in Whittier. We ended the tour with made to order Churros from a Churros truck. I highly recommend Angel as your Taco Crawl Guide when you visit Los Angeles! I would definitely book him again. Remember to bring an empty stomach, cash and Credit cards. They say Los Angeles is the city of Angels, but it’s also the city of the best Tacos!

Angel’s taco crawl is a must! Angel took my family and I to little hole in the wall/mom pop taco stands. There was an overwhelming amount of delicious food options. Angel was hilarious, knew a lot of history about tacos and the local neighborhoods. It was unique way spend time with the family and experience Los Angeles’s rich taco culture. Our daytime tour with Angel felt like being driven around by a good friend to try all his favorite tacos. We’re LA natives and learned so much about Boyle Heights/East LA from Angel, and tried so many tacos that we can’t normally find in our parts of town. Note that it’s mostly a driving tour and tacos are not included–but that didn’t stop us from having a great time! Highly recommend as a local or as a visitor.

This is a must do experience! Angel is super funny and personable, he makes the experience feel like you a spending time with an old friend. Every spot he took us was delicious and different. The al pastor queso taco was my favorite. I’d highly recommend checking this out with a group or as a date.
