Awesome, plain and simple. Nowhere else in town can you get a fine dining quality steak at a very reasonable price. The filet was perfectly cooked, and was seasoned perfectly as well. Service was top notch, those Italian green beans were great, tge garlic bread was delicious and the crab stuffed shrimp. OMG. Very clean, great food at a very reasonable price. Top quality service you would expect at a fine dining type place. Can’t wait to go back. Try this place if you’re in town. It will not disappoint.

Flavorful and tender ribeye and filet. Cooked perfectly. Ribeyes come out on a sizzling platter so under cooking more than you usually order will get it just about right if you go ahead and cut it.

We’ve been coming to Angelo’s since they were in their original location. What was a yearly trip on vacation has now become our go to place as locals. The steak is well seasoned without being too salty and cooked to perfection. The breadsticks are fresh, salad was crispy and the baked potatoes are huge. We went tonight to celebrate a birthday and Matt G was our server. Matt was very pleasant friendly and checked on us regularly as we enjoyed our meal. He noticed my husband was a Veteran and took the time to thank him for his service in a sincere manner, inviting us back in the future, as Angelo’s offers a Veteran discount. Thanks Matt for your excellent service and helping to make our dinner experience so pleasant! We’ll be back!

The service here was great. They really know how to take care of their customers. The food is really good and decently priced. Great place to take the family out to dinner. Get the steaks. Well seasoned and tender. The kids also get a lot of food/pasta for their meals. Definitely come check this place out

I gave this a 2-star rating solely because our server and the bartender were amazing. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had—and that’s hard to say about what used to be my favorite restaurant in Myrtle Beach, especially for steak.

I’m a local and have recommended this place to countless people over the years, so it honestly feels disappointing (and a little embarrassing) to be writing this review.

We arrived at 6:15 and were told the buffet was closed. Because it was closing, my boyfriend was allowed to get one plate, and I grabbed a small portion of tortellini. We were still charged for a full buffet. Mine was later adjusted to a “side,” which was still $7. Had we known that upfront, we wouldn’t have gotten any buffet items at all. The buffet itself was still very full, which made what happened next even more concerning.

We both ordered NY Strips. I was served a ribeye instead. I’m not one to send food back, so I trimmed the fat and planned to eat it anyway. The steak looked off-color, but I assumed it was just because it was a different cut. After a few bites, it was very clear something was wrong—the steak was rotten. Even my boyfriend, who will eat food well past expiration, tasted it and agreed. We had no choice but to send it back.

After that, I felt sick and couldn’t eat the replacement steak. I had a horrible taste in my mouth the rest of the night. The next morning, I woke up with a very upset stomach, which I’m confident was from that bad steak. The meat was gray, and you could literally smell that it had gone bad. Whoever cooked it had to know. On top of that, it wasn’t even the cut I ordered—the server confirmed it was rung in correctly.

When the bill came, we were still charged for the buffet we didn’t properly get and for a steak that was rotten. To make matters worse, there was an automatic 20% gratuity added for just two people. Thankfully, our server truly was great, or I would have been even more upset.

The manager never came to the table to apologize for serving spoiled food.

We also had a coupon for a free entrée, so this was not an attempt to get a free meal—the steak already was. After this experience, I honestly don’t think I’ll ever be able to return.

Kind of a strange set-up. It’s big, but when you 1st walk in it looks like a small uninviting diner. The big rooms are in the back.
The employees are very friendly. The gentelman working the buffet was extremely helpful and happy to help. Steaks were good and a great deal. Linguine and clams, not so much.

The building is crazy big. Lots of different rooms. The parking lot was packed when we got there, but that is to be expected during tourist season.

I ordered some soup, stuffed mushrooms, and a yellow fin tuna on pasta. The salad was good and I enjoyed their salad dressing. The breadsticks were ice cold, which was super disappointing and we only got 2 for between the two of us.
The mushrooms were amazing, soaked in butter. The soup was also great. Though the yellow fin tuna was super dry and had less seasoning than your white 80 year old grandma would use.

Our server was great, kept refills coming and made sure we were taken care of. I think it was just busy in the kitchen which is why the food wasnt the best for the main dish, but everything else was great.

During tourist season, I’d suggest simpler dishes and starters for sure.

I was intrigued by the “best steaks in the universe” claim on the sign out front. I typically don’t order steaks at restaurants, I tend to enjoy making them myself more, but such an audacious claim had to be verified. In went an order for a 14oz NY strip and out came a thick-cut sizzling behemoth. It was a bit rarer than I ordered, not that I mind, and the ripping hot cast iron it was served on was a great tool to even out the doneness. Quite a unique steak-eating experience difficult to replicate at home and the Dean Martin decor drives the whole experience home.

I ordered the buffet and it was really good. My husband ordered a steak and was really disappointed. A restaurant claiming to have the best steaks in the universe should be better. There was no flavor. He had to add butter to be able to eat it.
