Broiled Snapper throats were cook to perfection, just right amount of seasoning and very juicy. Appetizer, salad, and main dishes came out in good timing. Dinner accompanied with great view was a plus!
Our server, Jasmine, was so sweet…excellent.
Enjoyed the Buffalo Backs…grouper and snapper shoulders…excellent.
Stopped on our way out and chatted with the gentleman who sells jewelry. Great historian of the restaurant owners.
Amazing sunsets too!
Gotta go folks
Not disappointed at all.
Food was great and plentiful.
Service was thru the roof.
Our server Meme was top notch, she knew exactly when to stop by the table for anything we needed, and such a sweet demeanor.
If we get back that way, we’ll stop in again.
We ordered raw oysters and shrimp cocktail for appetizers. The shrimp cocktail is not traditional, but instead is a plate or broiled shrimp, but it’s very good. And the oysters were not very big, but they were really good.
For our entrees we both ordered broiled shrimp and snapper platters, mine with soup and a baked potato, his with side salad and rice and beans. The dinners were outstanding. I might have cooked the fish a little less, but it was perfect for my husband. My soup was tasty, it was a grouper soup and had very little fish (but a really nice broth). The baked potato was fine, but she accidentally brought fries (I originally ordered fries then changed my mine, which is likely why the mixup), and though I didn’t plan for the fries, they were soooo good! Hubby said the salad and beans and rice were good too.
Honestly, we focused on our seafood and because the portions were so big, we couldn’t eat ugh of the sides, and we didn’t even finish the fish.
All in all, it was great…I’d probably skip the apps next time so I could eat all my meal, but I can’t wait to come back again!
The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because :
1. the grouper…in the picture below was $35 and the whole red snapper was $37. And the Whole Red Snapper had 3x as much for a serving.
2. the steak was very fatty
3. the cheese grits were definitely missing something.
4. prices were awfully high for this area. Total spend was over $800.00!!!
