Okkkkkk… My little sister (whom I am always checking in with, Yvana) has been telling me about Angelo’s Pizza forever and I have been trying for months to make my way here… Being from up north (Boston) we appreciate the construct of a good slice of pizza and she swore to me that Angelo’s Pizza was pizza done right. As such, I had to put it to the test.
I was in the area and decided to pull up to Angelo’s Pizza. It was perfect timing as it was empty inside so I was able to scroll the menu and not feel rushed. As it was my first time, I wanted to keep it simple and take in all that Angelo’s Pizza had to offer me. Yep! I was putting them to the test. The basic pepperoni test.
I ordered a 10” Pepperoni Pizza and had a seat to await my order.
Angelo’s Pizza is small but has two booths in case you did want to eat inside. There is also a really long bench for those (like me) who choose to wait inside. The location was very clean and everything behind the counter was in order and well maintained and organized.
After about 16 minutes, my pizza was done and I was out the door.
Babeeeeeeeeeeeee… I knew I was in for a treat from the aroma that was coming out of the box. Angelo’s Pizza seasoned this pizza to perfection to the point that even the aroma had flavor. Yes, it was that serious.
Upon taking my first bite into that ooey gooey cheesy melty hot fresh slice of pizza, my entire body transitioned into an expression of bliss. This pizza was on point. I’m talking about,

Wow. One bite of a slice from the Large Cheese Pie and I was transported straight back to my childhood in Brooklyn, NYC. For those in the Atlanta metro area who can’t hop on a plane to New York for an authentic slice, this place in Riverdale, GA delivers the real thing right here at home.

Regular looking pizzeria nothing to rave about at all. Was really pissed counter girl says 10 minutes but then proceeds to tell me oh it came out soon as you walked out. Sauce is heavily lacking and dont bother ordering extra cheese. Its the same amount. WASTE OF TIME. And this is what I paid $1.25 for basil yall gotta get it together. Only thing NY about this pizza was how oily it was. And for no reason since it tasted bland.

OMG! YALL!! A new pizza spot but they serve other things than pizza!!The owner is very sweet and personable!! Hole gives great customer service!! I went for four days straight!! First I had the small Supreme pizza!! Handmade and delicious. Then Day 2 I got the Philly Cheese steak in which he chopped up really small for me!! Day 3 I had the Lasagna!!! Big portion, fresh mozzarella and EVERY Bite had italian sausage in it!! And the garlic knots??? Babbbyy…get the six pack!!!
You get a good portions for your $$!! They have Pizza, Pasta, Salads, Sub’s, Wings and desserts. Its a take out spot so other than customer service, and somewhere to sit why you wait, it’s a good atmosphere!! In other words give him a try!!!

I ain’t mad Angelo! Making some pretty good pizza out of this small corner plaza spot. Fresh taste, not a ton of seasoning but authentic taste. Perfect pizza crust because it’s dusty crispy like it came out brick oven with the powder bottom but soft inner bread that gave me a cheese like vibe even though I ordered no cheese pizza. It was really good. A small pizza can really stretch. I recommend. They better than all other pizza spots on this road.

Great pizza! I tried the NY style fettuccine pizza with steak instead of chicken. It was so delicious my family loved it. definitely a hidden gem in Riverdale. The spot is small yet super welcoming which allows for community to return again and again.
