The food was incredible! Pizza, fries, wings, and dessert. I heard about how good it was and waited about 3 months before finally making it out there.. it was amazing. I have had pizza every Friday for over 25 years.. if I missed 5 Fridays I’d be surprised. I have to say this is either #1 or 2 on the list throughout Cleveland! They were busy but the wait wasn’t bad at all and definately worth it.

Tried out this popular pizza spot in Cleveland for the first time and I was seriously impressed. The service was super quick and friendly, and the pizza was awesome.
We started with the cheesy garlic bread, loaded with cheese and served with a really good marinara dip. Total win. Don’t skip the wings either, they were legit.
You can get your pizza either deep dish or original style, we tried both, and honestly, it’s hard to say which one was better. They were both really good.
The place filled up fast during the dinner rush, even though it was a weekday, and now I get why it’s such a popular spot. Pro tip: check out their daily deals on the website for some nice discounts.

Angelos has fallen so far, they’re still relying on their reputation from many years ago, and the fact that Tom Hanks ate there.
Pizza was ordered timed for 8:45PM but they decided to make it right away, pizza was extremely cold, crust was dry and hard (did not order well done), not even remotely evenly topped, bare bottom of the crust can be seen in the photos. The buffalo chicken sub was also cold, but had potential to be very good, if it was not cooked too early and not burnt it would have been great. The chips and tzatziki were actually the best part of the meal and that’s just sad.
Final thoughts: I just can’t consider going there again, it’s over priced (36 for a pizza, 14 for a sub) is absolutely ridiculous for the quality you’re getting. Staff was very disorganized sending me to 3 different places for a pickup.

This was a lovely restaurant, relaxing, designed beautifully. They have overhead doors they open so you can eat next to the patio and an outdoor patio area that also has outside heating as I could feel heaters from above going. It’s in an adorable neighborhood. The pizza was delicious. Much better than we expected and we’ll definitely go back. Service wasn’t outstanding, but it wasn’t bad. I was displeased that both sets of our silverware were dirty. One had a chunk of food stuck to it and one had something between the prongs of the forks. I’m hoping this was just an unfortunate one off for them.

My son and his father ordered a deluxe pizza and this dinner salad it came out to almost 40$ so 8 slices of pizza and this right here this if you want to call it a salad is what they gave them for 8$ this is supposed to be a dinner salad but what it is is 4 bites of old iceberg lettuce and tomato slices not diced but slices like they were just to lazy to cut some tomatoes for a salad mind you an 8$ salad also this is twice in a row that I’ve gotten a salad from here just like this well I’ll give everyone a second chance but this place is definitely not getting a third chance to rip me off for four bites of salad. Thanks but no thanks

This is my second time eating at Angelo’s Pizza in Lakewood and their pizza is ALWAYS fantastic! Brought some friends who haven’t had it before and they really enjoyed the quality! We started with drinks, some potato skins and mozzarella sticks! Both were fantastic! We got the chicken Alfredo pizza, a custom made chicken bacon ranch with garlic ranch sauce, and a classic pepperoni pizza. All were delicious!! Always a treat to stop here for their top-tier pizza, especially in Cleveland! Get there early…it’s always BUSY!!

I’ve heard great things about this pizza We drove out. They were very busy, so we waited probably 30 minutes before we were seated. That’s fine. It was a nice evening out. Once we were seated, our waitress appeared right away. She was Johnny-on-the-spot about everything. You’d take your last sip of drink, and she was right there with another one. To me, that’s impressive because they were so busy! We ordered. I ordered a small pepperoni and sausage pizza, deep dish. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich with fries. There is an additional fee for fries with any sandwich. Our waitress didn’t know that. She was like, “I always tell people no.” Sis, stop lying to customers. Also, it’s written on the menu She’s cool, tho.
Anyways, back to the food. For the pizza, It doesn’t look super cheesy, but it was really cheesy, which I loved. The sauce was good. Some spots on the pizza wouldn’t have much sauce, and then boom, you take another bite, and sauce is covering your whole mouth. The crust was a little sweet. I’m not a huge fan of sweet crust, but it didn’t necessarily take away from the flavor of the pizza. Like, I didn’t suddenly think I was eating dessert. The grilled chicken sandwich was covered in cheese and bacon. You couldn’t even see the chicken. My kind of sandwich! My husband said it was good. The fries were great as well. Oh, he had wings, too. He ordered a bourbon sauce and said it was delicious.
All in all, great food and great experience. Will I return? Yes. Is it my favorite pizza spot? Nah. Did I get my money’s worth? Yea.

Great food and service! It was my first time at Angelo’s. We went on half day Monday and ordered 4 small pizzas (the chicken BBQ I didn’t get a photo of) everything tasted fantastic. Gianna was our server and was lovely! I gotta come back and try more kinds of pizza now!
