Really disappointed in this place. Pizza is literally in the name and they DO NOT serve pizza. I called to place an order like I always have for years and was put on hold just so someone else could pick up and tell me they don’t have pizza. Did they change ownership? Confused and disappointed.

Very odd place. The sign says pizza. It looks like a pizza restaurant. Then I walked in. All the windows are covered. There was no tables inside. Kids running around. I asked a Spanish lady if they had pizza. She looked at me almost in total disbelief that I’m asking for pizza. I don’t think she understood me. There was a bunch of people outside cooking something in a big pot and listening to Spanish music. The entire situation was just really strange. And they most definitely did not have any pizza. Pretty sure it’s just some sort of Spanish social club. Not a pizza restaurant.

Happy place, fairly clean. Waitress no habla Ingles, so my order was wrong, but the owner/chef made it again, no problem. Overall had a pleasant supper with a friend and her young child. Very relaxed environment. Little kids running around everywhere.

Overall, Angelo’s Pizza is a great place to get a delicious and authentic New York-style pizza. They have a wide variety of toppings to choose from, and their prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend Angelo’s to anyone looking for a great pizza in Danbury.
