The food and service were both exceptional. The fried zucchini tasted os fresh and just delicious. We also got the pesto pizza and it was so tasty. Can’t wait to come back.

Our food was excellent. The portion size was large, especially the very large single piece of cake my wife ordered (there was enough in that single piece of cake for three or four people to eat). I was not going to eat any cake, but it was huge, so I wound up with half of the piece. The atmosphere is that of a small restaurant. Not that of a fine dining establishment. Not that the atmosphere detracts from the food – it does not. It is just a simple sit down place with minimal frills. For the life of me, I cannot understand why they are not open on at least one weekend day (aside from wanting the weekend off). I rarely have a weekday off, so we and our friends had walked past the restaurant several times, over many months, and wondered if COVID or the recent tornado had put them out of business. Several other people were also in the area near us, also discussing why the restaurant was closed. The food was very good, so I am sure they would have lots of Saturday business, if they opened, and I am sure I would return. Unfortunately, until I get another weekday off, I won’t be able to return to try the other items on the menu; from what I could see of other’s orders, everything looked quite good, and smelled good too.

Fantastic food!!! Fantastic service!!! I WILL be making a return visit to Angelo’s. The location is small so make it a point to get there early, the food and staff make it worth the trip!

Had a nice dinner on my first visit here. They start you off with complimentary bread with heated marinara sauce. I had the Greek Chicken Soup and the Pastichio. Both were very tasty. Service was excellent.

First of all, the prices are not representative at all of the food quality. Maybe it was a bad night for the restaurant, but our food was mediocre and the service left much to be desired. Our waitress visited our table once in the hour and a half we were there; they were not busy; and all we had was water to refill. The cheese sticks were great, everything else was 4/10. Prices did not reflect the experience. Below par. Don’t waste your money. Their Alfredo sauce has ham in it.

I am here in the good city of Griffin on business! I have been craving a good pizza and a restaurant that showed me the Griffin downtown food culture! And, in my quest for this, I found Angelo’s! This restaurant has been around this area for some time and I can sense that locals come here for some great food! Over a glass of Pinot Noir, I had the calamari and a 10″ meat lovers pizza! The calamari was very good and the pizza felt like it had just come out of a brick oven! It was delectable! On top of that, the owner walked by and checked on everyone–including me! I would definitely come back in a heart beat! On a side note, I did not get to it, but they apparently have some phenomenal desserts as well! Keep up the good work!

First time trying this place with my wife. Short story, glad we did. I did not personally care for the chicken soup, but they allowed me to switch so I got the clam chowder. It was very good. Cheese sticks, Fried zucchini, spanakopita was tasty. I ordered shrimp and crab ravioli in red sauce. My wife ordered lobster ravioli in white sauce. Both were delicious options. The server was very polite and attentive. The food came out quick and hot. We will definitely be dining here again.

Fabulous…..we try to check out restaurants in surrounding areas. Today we drove from Macon to Griffin and were not disappointed at Angelos. We will be back! My husband had lasagna and I had Moussaka. The Moussaka reminded me of Leo’s (Macon) back in the day…..

The baked ziti with meat sauce was a huge portion and came with salt and garlic bread. Could easily split this dish between two people. There were 5 different meats and it was delicious! My eating companion had the meat ravioli, and it was super good as well. For desert, I had Diana’s bread pudding, which was very unique, and my companion had the white raspberry cake, both were to die for! They are oy open weekdays and from 3pm till 5pm have early bird discounts.
