One of the best Mexican restaurants ever. The service was so friendly and helpful. You could tell that they made the food from scratch and everything was fresh. We had the Chile Colorado and the sopa with barbacoa. They were both out of this world. The chips and salsa were also freshly made in house.

10/10! The only Mexican restaurant we’ve been going to lately. We’ve had a few visits here and had great experiences. The food is amazing! Our first time there we wondered why they took awhile with our order but now I understand because they make the food fresh to order, handmade sopes and tortillas. The sopes have been one of my favorites with shredded beef. The horchata is the best reminds me of my grandma’s homemade horchata. So far we’ve enjoyed the sopes, tacos, wet burrito and chile relleno plate.
The meats we’ve tried are carnitas, chile verde, asada and shredded beef they are all full of flavor. They are generous with the meat portions. Beans and rice are great too.

The area is not the best, but the food and service were excellent!!! Chile Verde is delicious. Definitely recommend. Definitely coming back to try more things on the menu. Home made chips and great salsa. Homemade everything.

The food at Angelo’s is DELICIOUS! I had the 2 carne asada taco plate and my boyfriend ordered the carne asada torta. Both were 10/10! The best part was the seasoning of the meat and that the meat had no fatty pieces while still being tender and flavorful. We also enjoyed the freshly made chips, salsas and jamaica. The owners of the restaurant were also so kind and the restaurant has nice decor. This is definitely a local family restaurant we to support! Highly recommend Angelo’s!

Food was excellent, I had quesadilla. Best quesadillas I have had so far in Visalia. Very great atmosphere. Wonderful chef and great hospitality. Fast and efficient turnaround time. The tortillas are also freshly made by the chef yum so good.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
