The only people eating here are the older generations who are local. Their taste buds died. So if you are newer, younger, or actually know what good quality Italian food taste like. DON’T COME HERE. DON’T TRUST THE GOOD REVIEWS. The 2 times I’ve tried the restaurant I witnessed people asking for the refunds. Honesty, I should have done the same. Come here and get a beer, but don’t eat here.

Absolutely disgusting take out. Fries were soggy and chicken was dry and tasted like it was straight out of the frozen food section. Either up the quality or lower the prices, because what I paid was not worth it by a long shot. Don’t patronize this place if you value a good meal.

Went there for the first time tonight, I can tell that this is a spot enjoyed by the locals with the relationships being the standpoint of the restaurant. I am Italian, grew up on sauce not made from a can. I knew once the waitress handed me my dish and said here is your Knock-ie i wasn’t at an actual Italian restaurant. The bread was left out in a basket and stale. The meat sauce they use, tastes exactly like chef boyardee can with the raviolis. This 4.4 star is not for the food but for the community. If you want good sauce, go to yolis in clairton 20 minutes up the road. If you want to have a beer with the locals go here. The staff and the waitress were nice, friendly , attentive. Also, I don’t get putting a half of a roma tomato on the salad plate. Slice it or dice it, it just appears lazy.

Went into the bar section and didn’t see the dining area. The bar tender was very nice and the drinks were good. The food left a lot to be desired, the spaghetti was very bland and the chicken bacon wrap was okay. I understand they want to classify as an Italian restaurant and bar, but the burger there was the most pathetic thing I’ve ever seen, if you have it on your menu. You should at least be able to make it decently. Overall it’s a pretty nice place for a drink but one of my last picks in the area if im looking to eat.

Fun place for the holidays. Close to the river. Not a bad thing on the menu. Great selection of draft beer. Service is always on point! The holiday decorations make national news every year with nearly the entire building covered in decorations.

Hometown feel with friendly waitress, food was passably good. The spaghetti portion was large; the 6 cheese ravs filling with a light mozerella/ricotta blend. Tasted like Cellone’s Italian bread. The menu was based on Italian, but also had sandwiches, salads, appetizers, wraps. On occasion, the baker makes good homemade cinnamon rolls (not there on Mondays.) The restaurant is a bit chilly & cold feeling with the white, black& white prints style. If you need choices & decent prices, check them out.

Amazing sauce….amazing pizza….amazing gnocchi, ravioli and amazing veal!!!! I visit every time I’m back in monongahela visiting for thanksgiving and it’s still the same taste!
